There was a time when good weather automatically meant long drives, pointless conversations. Now somehow life is just work, sleep, repeat.
Any experience? What do they charge and what form of meditation is practised?
I’ve been revising bns. One major question that has been on my mind is where to put full stop. I was doing the topic of hurt and grievous hurt the other day, there were PYQs in Singhals MCQ book asking remotest of areas eg punishment for hurt to extort property, to extort confession by police officer etc. Do we just accept the fact that not everything can be covered and leave some remote areas, or do we rot and read multiple times even the remote areas? Where to put the full stop?
Another example would be of abduction. Abduction is not an offence unless combined with mens rea. Abduction is an offence if done with intent to murder, for ranson, for detention, for grievous hurt or for unnatural lust as given in clauses 140(1) to 140(4). Do we remember the punishments for all clauses? Similar is the case with extortion etc. I’m sorry if it turned out more of a rant than a question. But this doubt keeps coming up whenever I’m onto solving MCQs.
Let’s take another example. Perjury is given under 227 and 228 and punishable under 229BNS. In sections 230 to 248 specific cases are given like perjury in murder, perjury in decree etc. and pyqs are from these latter sections also. How to go about these?
