A month ago I asked "what am I doing wrong?" Here's what changed, and where I'm stuck now

A month ago I posted here because my PMS app, Niyora, was getting almost no visitors. Thank you to everyone who replied. Here's what I changed and what happened.

What I changed:

  • Renamed the app from "PMS & Emotions" to "PMS & PMDD Support," to match what people actually search for
  • Shipped a clearer onboarding, and the price is now shown plainly
  • Added a cycle report people can take to their doctor
  • Started showing up on Reddit: answering questions about PMS honestly, and mentioning the app only where it fits

Small numbers, but moving in the right direction.

Where I'm stuck now: impressions are still low. My guess is that people searching for period apps expect a tracker, and Niyora isn't one.

For those who've grown an app past this stage:

  1. What moved your impressions the most?
  2. Is Apple Search Ads worth testing at this size?
  3. Would you lean into the "tracker" category to get found, or own a new one?

Any feedback appreciated (woman health app built by woman in health space)

I've just shipped something I built solo. Niyora, an iPhone app for the psychological side of PMS. I went through the research looking for a pattern I could actually act on, and built it from that.

You write down what happened. Niyora helps you see it from a few different angles, settle the emotion, then gives you options for how to respond. It builds a report: the topics and emotions that keep coming up, and which week of your cycle they show up in. Yours to act on, or to take to a doctor.

It's live and pretty new. I'd rather be corrected early than late, so if you have two minutes, I'd take a blunt/honest opinion.

What am I doing wrong?

I researched my own pain point, reviewed research papers, found pattern, simplified to a user journey, designed the app and somehow am not able to get any visitors or know what am I doing wrong. Please help
