33F - Progressive neurological symptoms, normal initial tests, looking for similar experiences

Hi everyone,

I’m a 33-year-old female from Australia and I’m hoping to hear from anyone who has experienced something similar while I continue working with my doctors. I’m otherwise healthy. The only medication I take is letrozole for ovulation induction. I don’t have any significant medical conditions that I’m aware of except for asthma and thalassemia (minor).

Over the last few weeks or so I’ve developed a collection of symptoms that seem to be getting worse rather than better, and they’re becoming quite concerning.

My symptoms include:
Numbness and tingling affecting different parts of my body.
Weakness and a heavy feeling, particularly on one side at times.
A feeling that my coordination and balance aren’t quite right.
Neck pain and pain around my upper spine.
Episodes where taking a deep breath feels difficult or unsatisfying, even though I can breathe and my oxygen levels have been normal.
Dizziness and feeling “off”.
A sensation that something neurological is happening, although I can’t explain it well.
Symptoms seem to fluctuate throughout the day but overall have gradually progressed.

This has happened to me in the past, but only very rarely when I’ve been hungover and at the time thought that was the cause. This is no longer a factor as I am TTC (2.5 years).

I’ve been assessed medically. (Attended the ED twice). My vital signs have generally been normal and I’ve had some initial investigations that haven’t shown an obvious cause including blood tests and a contrast CT scan on my head and neck. Despite that, the symptoms continue, and I’m still waiting for further assessment.

I’m not looking for a diagnosis or medical advice. I’m simply wondering:
Has anyone experienced a similar combination of neurological symptoms that initially had normal tests?
If so, what did it eventually turn out to be?
Were there any investigations that ended up providing the answer (MRI, nerve conduction studies, blood tests, etc.)?
Did anyone have symptoms that came and went before becoming more persistent?

I’m continuing to follow up with my doctors and will seek urgent medical care again if things worsen, but I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been through something similar.

I’ve seen a cardiologist today, and am waiting for a referral to see a neurologist.

Thank you for reading.

NSFW - Undiagnosed bump on labia?

33 - Female - Australian
Duration of complaint: Approximately 2+ years
Location of complaint: Inner aspect of the labia majora, around the transition line where the hair-bearing skin ends, roughly in line with the vaginal opening

I’ve had a small bump on the inner side of my labia majora for a little over 2 years. It has been examined by 3 different GPs and my fertility specialist. None of them felt it looked concerning, but nobody has been able to tell me exactly what it is.

Description:
Approximately 4–5 mm in diameter
Smooth, soft, skin-coloured/translucent
Integrated into the surrounding skin
Dome-shaped, almost like a small skin-coloured bubble
Not rough, cauliflower-like, ulcerated, or crusted
No bleeding, discharge, or significant pain
Doesn’t feel like a deep lump under the skin
Occasionally appears slightly larger when irritated, but otherwise has remained stable for over 2 years

There are also several tiny bumps in a line beneath it that are about a quarter of the size. Some appear white/yellow when the skin is stretched, almost resembling tiny milia or Fordyce spots?

I have been in a monogamous relationship for 10 years. History of recurring pregnancy loss over the same period.

33F trying for 2+ years, 3 losses

Has anyone here gone through IVF after 3 pregnancy losses?

After my third loss, my specialist has recommended a number of investigations and potential next steps, including:

• HyCoSy (Hysterosalpingo-Contrast Sonography)
• Saline Infusion Scan (SIS)
• Hysteroscopy and curettage
• IVF
• Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of it and would love to hear from others who have been in a similar position.

Did you undergo any or all of these procedures after recurrent pregnancy loss? What did they find, if anything? Did IVF and/or PGT help you achieve a successful pregnancy?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences, both positive and negative, as I try to understand what the next few months might look like.

For context: I’m located in Australia, and have experienced 3 pregnancy losses over the past 2 years. The second one I had a D&C and had the tissue sent off for testing, which all came back with no abnormalities! My specialist is investigating possible causes and discussing IVF with PGT as a potential next step. I am also on my 7th round of Letrozole and have done two rounds of Clomid previously.

Thank you ❤️

33F - Small smooth bump on inner labia majora for 2+ years, not thought to be a GW

Medications: Prenatal vitamins & Letrozole
Previous/current medical issues: Recurrent pregnancy loss (currently undergoing fertility investigations), HPV positive 17 years ago, negative since, otherwise no significant medical history
Duration of complaint: Approximately 2+ years
Location of complaint: Inner aspect of the labia majora, around the transition line where the hair-bearing skin ends, roughly in line with the vaginal opening

I’m hoping someone might be able to suggest what this could be. I’ve had a small bump on the inner side of my labia majora for a little over 2 years. (I noticed this after my first miscarriage, not sure if that is relevant) It has been examined by 2 GPs in person, 1 GP at a family planning clinic and my fertility specialist. None of them felt it looked concerning or like a GW but nobody has been able to tell me exactly what it is!

Description:
Approximately 4–5 mm in diameter
Smooth, soft, skin-coloured/translucent
Dome-shaped, almost like a small skin-coloured bubble, integrated into the surrounding skin

Some appear white/yellow when the skin is stretched, almost resembling tiny milia or Fordyce spots, there are a few on the opposite side also. They look more prominent in the photo due to the positioning of the light.

I’m not necessarily looking for a diagnosis over the internet, but I’m curious whether people think this resembles:
Fordyce spots
An epidermal inclusion cyst
A sebaceous gland/cyst
Another benign vulvar skin condition?

Has anyone seen something similar before?

Thank you.

Faint positive or evap? 11 DPO, TTC 3 years

11DPO and losing my mind a little 😅

I took this FRER today with FMU and I think I can see a faint line, but after two previous losses I’m struggling to trust my eyes or get excited too early.

For context:
• 11DPO, CD28
• FRER test
• FMU
• Photo taken within timeframe
• No obvious evap in person - looks pinkish
• First pregnancy in 2 years

Do you see it too, or am I line hunting? Honest opinions appreciated 🥺
