Hi guys, hope you all are well. I’m a 21 yr old community college student, and one of my goals to get a bachelors degree is for the potential option of getting into JET.

After this year I plan to transfer to WGU online college, and was wondering if getting my bachelors fully online will matter or will decrease my odds of getting in?

side question: will getting a degree in english/literature increase my chances of getting into JET, vs something like business/IT ?

guys i’m getting kicked out of my parents place , and have to move out in a couple months. I plan to live in my car and travel the west coast (california/oregon/washington) and work odd jobs. But the issue I have is when applying minimum wage jobs, they require a residential address. Since I’ll be living in my car, I wont have an address, so idk how this works. Ahhh, This is really ruining the plans I had, and man its making me want to cry. I just feel lost, and would love some guidance by anyone , thank you

I’ve been interested in Electrical Engineering but I’m specifically interested in Electrical Designer jobs in MEP for buildings and cities etc. I was wondering would I need to get my FE? I’m already struggling in my coursework and honestly don’t think I can handle it / pass it.

I don’t see myself working in any other section of EE, besides maybe power utilites and or defense, but those seem more difficult to break into.

Anyways, would I need an FE for mep ee?

Location : California / Seattle if that matters.

Just wow Bleach. Cour 4 is really delivering and Episode >!45!< is just unreal. No other anime I have seen in a long time has brought this much peak and emotion out of me. Insane work by Kubo, the directors, and animators. Absolutely amazing.

Rezero season 4 part 1 is also top tier, specifically ep >!3!< and ep >!11!< stand out to me, and part 2 is looking good. The psychological torture subaru has gone through and his resolve has been cinema. Aura Monster.

These two animes have really solidified themselves as my all time favorites. Bleach definitely has Episode of the year.

Question: Electrical or Civil for finding a chiller 9-5 clock in clock out type of job on the west coast? (seattle, california).

Info: I deal with 2 types of chronic pain, due to events as a child. So what I value isn’t pay.

What I Value: Lower day to day work stress, and reliability of having a job, chill environment, and my mental health. Middle income is fine.

Electrical engineering: Specifically interested in Electrical Power Grids for homes/cities. Then Renewable Energy.

Civil engineering: Interested most in Water Resources. Then, Land Development, and Environmental Engineering.

In addition: I prefer To be working in office hopefully atlease 90% of the time. Unsure how that will be in civil.

I would love any advice on what path to take, if anyone could share there experiences working in the industry, or any comments/questions, I would very much appreciate that!! :)

Turned 21 earlier this year about to go to liquor store, any recs? Perfably something easy to drink, like in a can.

Suicide is such a fitting end for me, anyone in my body would do the same. Im in constant pain and my body is so tired and bored of it all. Nothing excites me, not even any types of highs.

Hi all! :) Im a 20yr old 2nd year EE major in California, I picked EE because it’s the most interesting to me out of the engineering fields.

But something really important to me is being able to secure/find a job after graduation. How is the entry job market for EE?

A Big thing for me is work life balance, I put my mental health over most things . So i would like to know your guy’s experience. If there are jobs in EE that give less stress and a better work life balance (standard 40hour work week, clock in clock out vibe)?
I dont mind lower pay for better work life balance.
