Working on a high resolution, hand painted tileset, looking for feedback

Hello, these last few months i was working on procedurally generated tactical rpg inspired by fire emblem, but ended up scrapping it.

However i already had a few assets done and i feel it would be a waste to just throwing them into the bin.

So i'm thinking about repurposing the existing assets into a more traditional roguelike style (basically removing the blue/red color coding from characters) the pictures in the post also shows the dungeon tileset i was working on and the overworld/worldmap tileset, so it could be used for games with both dungeons and a worldmap like adom, tome, etc...

So, far i only know of a single existing tileset for angband that is somewhat similar in style (high res and handpainted) so i want to gather some feedback before i keep working on this on move on to something else.

I don't have any project i could use it for so i would probably make it free or cheap on itch or something, but it could be cool to finish it and see it used in someone else game.

So, does it look interesting or something you would want to use?

Should i keep working on my fire emblem inspired tileset, handpainted, not pixel art...

Hello, ive been an artist for many years, used to be a freelancer back then, good times.

And i have never stopped working on art for games as a hobby. But lately ive been thinking on making assets for other devs to use.

I have noticed how little variety exists when it comes to handpainted assets, compared to pixel art in things like character sprites and tilesets.

So these past few months ive been working on this project that was basically procedurally generated fire emblem. Until i realized a little too late that procedural maps for a game like fire emblem wasnt the best idea... So im stopping development of the game.

But since i have some assets already done that i used to prototype a little, i thought that if people like the overall style, i could keep working on this tileset until its complete with everything a tactical rpg like FE would need, polish it up and putting it for sale in itch io (with a demo to try it out too)

I'm used to work freelance for tabletop games, tgc, book, etc... but im lost when it comes to making assets for sale. As a developer myself i know what i would want, but i still would appreciate some feedback. Is this something worth pursuing?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Any good 4x Game focused on infraestructure/colony sim elements?

Im looking for any Game in the genre that has a similar feel to games like rimworld, where you Will look at the map you are in and start planning how you are going to grow food, how can you generate enough energy to develop your industry, for example an icy map with geothermal energy Will be a different experience to a dense jungle etc.. so you need to plan how and where to develop your industry and infraestructure, etc

Hello! im working on a final fantasy 1 inspired game, but the goal is to make it completely procedurally generated.

If any of you loves roguelikes you can see where this is going already.

The idea is deceptively simple, just like in FF1 there is an overworld with dungeons and towns, and you have to beat 4 main dungeons and 4 main bosses in order to go to the final dungeon and beat the final boss.

But the whole thing is generated in a way inspired by games like dwarf fortress, rimworld or cataclysm dda, so each run is actually different.

I wanted to share some screens to hopefully get some feedback about this idea, is this something you could be interested in playing? it would depend on the execution? im all ears.
