not a med student yet but I love flashcards and have tried gizmo and quizlet. then i found out marami nagamit ng anki, specially med students, but honestly naiintimidate ako sa interface niya kaya i’ve been putting off really trying it. ask ko lang if there was really a big difference for those who have tried it / are currently using it for medschool. tyia!!

incoming second year me and super bigat next sem subjects ko (also will be working din kasi) so parang gusto ko imidyear nalang nstp para mabawasan kahit papano load ko. kamusta po ba workload ng cwts? di naman ba siya ganon kabigat sa regular sem and should i just take it? or go for midyear?
Oops pahabol na review. I’ve read some mixed experiences about coach brix before magstart classes last sem, but my experience turned out good naman. He really values discipline (probably all martial arts profs do) kaya mahalagang magshow up on time and wag tatamad tamad sa warm up kasi he will call you out— which is understandable naman kasi i think bastos naman talaga if nagshoshort cut ka sa warm ups. He prioritizes safety din kasi and part non is yung proper warm up, makinig lang kay sir and also don’t do unneccessary things with the equipment. He might seem scary but may pagkasoftie naman si sir! Beginner friendly yung course and tinuturo naman lahat from scratch, tho I wouldn’t reccommend for someone with asthma or breathing issues kasi humirap yung cardio by the end of the sem. The finals was super fun and memorable (interclass sparring) even though na-bodybag ako ng kalaban ko wahhaha. Overall nice experience, would reccommend!

Di ako madalas mag bigay ng reviews here but I felt compelled to do so for sir kasi he is genuinely one of those profs that will leave an impact even after the semester ends (atleast for me). He is very kind and you will really feel it sa class niya. also very very passionate sa philosophy and in teaching it. going into philo 1 i didn’t expect much kasi mejo boring at puro memorization impression sakin ng philosophy during shs, but here I learned to really appreciate philosophy and despite the 5-7pm timeslot nakakakinig pa ako hahhah. Yung past syllabus niya ay 98-100 ang uno but he adjusted it na so very unoable (I can attest nyahaha) tho tbh unoable parin naman even if he didnt adjust it kasi you really just need to be immersed sa class niya, let him get to know you, and come to class with an open mind :]
