I want to sell my gaming pc but I’m scared

I’ve been gaming since I was a kid, I definitely wouldn’t call myself addicted though. I have a very good job and maybe game for 3 or 4 hours a day at most. However recently I haven’t been enjoying video games much at all, the state of gaming overall is very poor and a lot of the games I used to have a bunch of fun playing are dead/dying due to the gaming industry being very parasitic and going in a very poor direction. I have some bills that I’m trying to get paid off, selling my set up would help a ton with that. But I’m scared, I’ve played video games for most of my life so I don’t know how I’m going to navigate life without them. My wife games as well although she isn’t nearly as attached to them as I am. She can play games or not play games, she doesn’t really care. Me on the other hand, I don’t so much feel im addicted to video games, but I am most definitely addicted to the pc it’s self. I will turn it on and sit there just looking at it, hoping that it will suddenly become fun again. But it’s been like this for months, and still not fun like they used to be. The driving factor for me is the state of gaming, it just makes me sad because it’s always been such a huge part of my life. I mean me and my wife used to game together all the time, but all the games we used to play are pretty much dead now or almost that way. Just struggling with the idea of not having gaming anymore. Any advice is appreciated, thank you friends.

I have an interview with a local dsp this coming Tuesday offering 21.50 an hour which considering there aren’t many good paying jobs in my area, that sounds pretty good. What are some things about the job I need to know? What are the routes like? And is it a good long term job?
