I’m going into university doing Computer Science (specifically Software Engineering, but I might switch to Computer Science with AI or Cyber Security).
I do a bit of game dev on the side on Roblox Studio and plan to learn video editing on the side. In terms of gaming, I do light gaming here and there, but I would like to run heavier games such as Elden Ring, Wukong or modded Minecraft.
I currently have the 2022 Z13 and it’s been good until a few months ago. The battery had to be removed and the temps are constantly high, to the point where I can’t even run unmodded Minecraft well. I’ve had it for around 2 years.
The portability and touchscreen factor were a big draw for me, as it made taking notes so much easier or practicing exams using the pen.
I’m looking at the 16GB version of the G14 and the 32GB version of the Z13 as they’re the cheapest models right now. I need:
Decent battery life
Decent performance for games
Something that will last at least a year of consistent use
If you have any other alternatives, please share them as that would be helpful.

right now im predicting ABC (cs physics maths) for my achieved grades with highest being A* A C. checking ucas course thing with what il get il still get into the course i want to do but maths is a required grade(grade achieved isnt specified). in the case i miss my offer should i go through clearing or resit.

I finished revising most stats and most of mech is okay since i do physics. im aiming around 60-80 marks so i can hopefully get a B overall(p1 was horror).

i know that due to my age its unlikely for me to gain a significant amount of height i am not looking for that. i am more so trying to reach my potential. my dad is around 172 cm and my mum is around 160cm. i am planning booking a blood test through NHS however i am unsure what they actually test for and if i have to specify. looking for advice on what i can do in order to gain abit more height if possible. i am not super insecure of my height but same time gaining some would be nice.
