Handmade leather and metal cuff bracelets

I make handmade cuff bracelets using vegetable tanned leather and recycled copper sheet. I cut, stamp, rivet, and finish each piece by hand. I have looked for raw materials on Amazon, AliExpress, and Alibaba. Leather blanks are easy to find. Metal stamping tools took some hunting. I am thinking about selling these at local craft fairs and maybe online. For other handmade jewelry makers here, do you think there is still demand for unisex leather cuffs? What price point works for handmade leather goods? Also any tips for photographing cuffs to show the texture and stamping details? I would appreciate any feedback from fellow crafters.

Anyone here imported Chinese landscaping equipment before ?

Hi everyone, does anyone here have experience importing landscaping machinery from China? I’m planning to buy a mini excavator for landscaping work and small site jobs, possibly a MIO mini excavator.

I’ve been checking sites like Taobao, Made-in-China, AliExpress, and Alibaba, but I’m not sure which is safest or best for heavy equipment purchases. I’d really appreciate advice on shipping, customs, spare parts availability, supplier reliability, and overall quality.

Did you use an agent or import directly yourself? Any mistakes to avoid or recommended suppliers would help a lot. Thanks in advance!

How do you scale handmade jewelry without losing the "handmade" feel ?

I’ve been making handmade jewelry as a hobby for a while, but orders are starting to increase and I’m struggling to keep up without feeling burned out. I still want everything to feel handmade, but production, packaging, sourcing materials, and social media are becoming overwhelming.

For those who scaled successfully, what helped most? Did buying supplies in bulk make a big difference? I’ve been looking at Alibaba for findings, chains, beads, and packaging, but I’m nervous about quality and minimum orders.

How do you balance growth without turning the creative side into a stressful factory job?

Using BAS Concepts to automate a small pipe fabrication line

I am setting up a small pipe manufacturing line for steel conduit pipes used in commercial buildings in my local town. Right now most steps are manual: cutting, chamfering, and threading. I want to add some automation to speed things up and reduce mistakes. I have looked at sensors, PLCs and small actuators on Amazon, eBay and some chine platforms like Alibaba. Many affordable options exist but I am not sure which are reliable for industrial use. Has anyone here applied building automation concepts like airflow sensors or damper actuators to a material handling line? Also how would you handle pipe feeding and alignment using off the shelf BAS parts? I do not need full Industry 4.0. Just something simple to get started.

Where do you buy stainless steel coils for small projects ?

I am starting a small manufacturing project making kitchen accessories. I need stainless steel coils in 304 grade, about 0.5mm thick and 200mm wide. I have been looking on Alibaba and other marketplaces like eBay and amazon but I am not sure which suppliers are reliable. The prices vary a lot where some sellers offer coils for two dollars per kilo while others want five dollars. Has anyone here bought stainless steel coils from online suppliers? I am worried about getting steel that rusts or has inconsistent thickness. I only need a small quantity to start, maybe five hundred kilos. Any advice on finding trustworthy suppliers would be great.

I’m planning a few cheap budget-friendly upgrades for my ebike and wanted some advice before ordering parts. I’m mainly looking at affordable options from Alibaba, AliExpress, Temu, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace instead of expensive branded upgrades.

Right now I’m thinking about:

Hydraulic brake kit

Suspension seatpost

Brighter front light

Phone mount

Comfort saddle/grips

Cheap all-terrain tires

Has anyone here bought decent ebike upgrade parts from Alibaba or AliExpress that were actually worth it? Any sellers, brands, or products to avoid?

Trying to get the biggest improvement possible without spending a ton. What cheap upgrade made the biggest difference on your bike?

Hey guys, I’m choosing between the Sur-Ron Light Bee and Ultra Bee as a beginner (no dirt bike experience). I’ll use it for fun, light off-road, and some commuting. The Light Bee seems lighter and easier, while the Ultra Bee looks more powerful but heavier.

My questions:

* Is the Light Bee better to learn on?

* Will I outgrow it fast?

* Is the Ultra Bee too much for a beginner?

Also, I’m considering buying from Alibaba to save money. For those who’ve tried it, how was your experience? Would you recommend it, or is it safer to buy locally?

Appreciate any advice 🙏

Robot vacuum cleaning has become so common recently. I’m seeing even budget friendly options everywhere, Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, etc.

I’ve been wondering: has anyone here actually replaced part of their staff workload with robot vacuums?

Not talking full replacement, but maybe for maintenance cleans, offices, or between visits. Has it helped reduce labor time or costs in a meaningful way?

Also curious which brands or models have worked reliably in real client environments, not just home use.

Would appreciate any honest experiences, wins or failures. Trying to figure out if it’s worth integrating into my workflow.

I’m remodeling my house and considering installing a tankless water heater. I’ve looked at options on sites like Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, and Alibaba, but I’m leaning toward buying locally because of installation support and warranty. From what I understand, tankless systems offer on-demand hot water and potential energy savings, but they also come with higher upfront costs and maintenance requirements like annual descaling.

For those with experience, is going local the smarter move? Any brand or setup recommendations, or things I should watch out for during installation?

I am seeking advice and opinion on whether these budget options are actually worth it long term. I keep seeing similar designs across sites like Amazon, Alibaba, AliExpress, and eBay, and they all seem to come from the same manufacturers.

For those who have tried them, do they hold temperature well and last over time, or do they start leaking and losing insulation after a while?

Would you recommend starting with one of these, or going straight to a more solid or DIY setup?

I’m working with a pretty limited budget and trying to decide between buying a second hand food truck vs going with a cheaper, off brand new build. I’ve been seeing lightly used, branded trucks on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and similar platforms they seem solid but still a bit pricey. On the other hand, sites like AliExpress and Alibaba have much cheaper options, though I’m unsure about quality, durability, and long term costs. Has anyone here gone either route? Would you recommend investing in a used branded truck or taking a chance on a budget friendly new one? Any advice or experiences would really help!

I’m in the process of opening a small manicure parlor and I’ve been comparing chair designs from inspiration on Instagram to the typical options on sites like Amazon AliExpress eBay and Alibaba. It got me thinking are manicure pedicure chairs actually comfortable for long sitting or just designed to look luxurious? Yes they look ideal but what about comfort over time? Some seem super plush but I wonder how they hold up for real clients. Are they genuinely comfortable for long sessions or mostly built to impress visually?
