personal collection update

Just wanted to share the latest update to my collection! Really happy with the new additions and with how the collection is coming together.

I took a lot of the advice you guys gave me on my last post when deciding what pieces to add next, so thank you for all the recommendations!

Would love to hear what you think of the collection in its current state, and where you think I should go from here.

Thanks again — this is such a great community!

Santos Dumont Large

Just added this watch to my collection, I know people love the dumont in small but after tying the Large I honestly couldn’t look back. I have a 16 cm / 6.3 in wrist.

Next watch recommendations 🙏🏻

Hi everyone,

I’ve been slowly building my watch collection over the last few years, and I think I’m ready for the next addition. I’d love to hear what you would add if you were in my position.

Current collection:
Tudor Black Bay 36 (blue dial)
Longines Legend Diver 39 (white dial)
Hamilton Khaki Murph 38
Mido Ocean Star 39

My wrist is about 6 inches, so 39mm is pretty much the upper limit of what wears comfortably for me.

Looking at my collection, I feel like I’m missing either:

A proper dress watch, or something with a bit more color and personality.

One watch currently on my radar is the Longines Heritage Central Power Reserve, but I’m very open to other suggestions.

At the moment, I don’t think I’m ready to make the jump to Rolex or Cartier territory, so I’d prefer to stay around the $5,000 USD budget range.

What would you add next and why?

Thanks everyone, looking forward to hearing your recommendations.
