This turn literally took 20 minutes...

After a few turns and a literal hour of waiting, I was able to besiege Istanbul, which helped A LOT xD.

I hate their families, dogs, cats, cows, horses, and camels. I hate the way they look at my army. I hate the way they try to do something with a spam of all melee units in the 18th century. I hate them and I despise them.

I cant understand that after 17 years this still exist...

Problem with darthmode packfile

Hi, after some time I tried Empire again, this time with darthmode.

I am not able to open and open one file, specificaly DME_darthmode>db>projectiles_tables>Darth_projectiles

It gives me error "There are no definitions for this specific version of the table in the Schema)

I can open anything other, tried Packfile Manager and Rusted PackFile Manager, but it made no diference...

I reinstaled Empire and darthmode, but without success

Did you had same problem? Iam not really skilled with moding gamefiles, so any help will be appreciated :D

Soul land 1 god trials are meh at best?

Well, exactly what the title says. I am watching the first Soul Land and I have enjoyed it so far, but I hate the way the whole training arc is done.

It starts at the worst time possible. At the moment when Spirit Hall is at its strongest and the whole continent is preparing for war, we finally see Tang San start his Tang Sect, just so two episodes later our characters start to larp Moana and sail around islands for several years to complete trials that don't really make sense and that we (or at least I xD) don't care about, while punching different kinds of fish grandmasters. xD

It's not that I dont like characters getting stronger, but I dont like when the world and story finally open up just to immediately put the main characters into isolation in a place we have never even heard about until now and that has nothing to do with the main conflict. (Not to mention that the Sea God is, in my opinion, not a good match for Tang San.)

It's like if in Perfect World, Shi Hao disappeared into some underground city right when the big war started and stayed there for 35+ episodes (which is about how long they're on the island in the donghua). Or if Xiao Yan in BTTH disappeared to some random place while the open war was finally happening against the Hall of Souls. I don't think anyone would enjoy watching half of the war happen while the main character is gods knows where. It could have been done much better, in my opinion.

Still, I like the series. I havent finished it yet lol, but the characters are great, I dont care about the animation of the first 100 episodes and the romance is actually really good for a donghua. (I honestly don't remember seeing such a sweet couple as Tang San and Xiao Wu, if you have recommendations give me some please xD)

But something is telling me, that it might not be the best written story of all time, as some things I find really bad xD

This arc really pulled me out of the story and completely killed the pacing that had been building up throughout the series. (especially after Tang Hao saved them after the tournament)

But it might be just me you know lol

Soul land 1 god trials are boring?

Well, exactly what the title says. I am watching the first Soul Land and I have enjoyed it so far, but I hate the way the whole training arc is done.

(Not to mention that the Sea God is, in my opinion, not a good match for Tang San.)

It's like if in Perfect World, Shi Hao disappeared into some underground divine realm right when the big war started and stayed there for 35+ episodes (which is about how long they're on the island in the donghua). Or if Xiao Yan in BTTH disappeared to some random place while the open war was finally happening against the Hall of Souls. I don't think anyone would enjoy watching half of the war happen while the main character is gods knows where. It could have been done much better, in my opinion.

Still, I really like the series. I havent finished it yet lol, but the characters are great (except the way Qin died, that was just stupid), and the romance is actually really good for a donghua. (I honestly don't remember seeing such a sweet couple as Tang San and Xiao Wu, if you have recommendations give me some please xD)

But this arc really pulled me out of the story and completely killed the pacing that had been building up throughout the series. (especially after Tang Hao saved them after the tournament)

Do you guys feel the same, or is it just me? I know posting something like this in the Soul Land subreddit might not be the best idea, so please go easy on me. xD

(stole from diferent subreddit)

Ok so as far as I know gatekeeping is useless…

but what is this?? Cold war? what do they mean by spies? xD ofc they are watching the Reddit… so do they google... if you found that site there is no way they didnt fould it..

But this is with literally any other pirate related content… its not like if I start to talk about fitgirl and out of nowhere the site is going to fall (pls let this not age badly lmao)

I feel like Iam in burning city and averywhere is absolute chaos xD

From the time HiAnime fell, I feel like the overall IQ of anime fans fell as well...

Or perhaps… I am just stupid and they are right, Reddit made me question everything rly… :D
I believe that this subreddit could give me some actual answers, because wheeew… its taking a toll xD

While going through my watchlist, I realized that there are quite a lot of songs in not-so-"popular" anime that I really like.

I mean, almost everyone can tell you that Tokyo Ghoul’s intro is peak, Demon Slayer is great, or Naruto has some solid tracks... but what about the others? There are so many of them out there that most people have no idea about...

So I’m curious -what are your favorites? What are the songs you never skip? The ones you sit through the entire credits just to hear, yet almost like nobody knows about them?

I’ll start with a few that I realized I listen to more often than I thought xD:

Three Star Exorcists - basically all intros, but especially the 3rd one somehow managed to hit deep. I hate Studio Pierrot with a passion, but they do know how to put good music into their sometimes questionable work xD (I just really like Tokyo Ghoul :D)

Chivalry of a Failed Knight - I mean, both the intro and outro are just peak. I love how it plays with colors, and it became one of my favorites pretty quickly

intro of Lord Marksman and Vanadis - if there’s an intro that could make me want to join a fantasy army, this is right behind AOT

I’m Quitting Heroing - 2nd outro. It beautifully ties into the story. In the first half of the series it feels quite normal, nothing too special, but after a certain point in the story, the whole outro changes. One of my favorite things ever done with outros

There is so many more than I could say really :D

Drop yours, my watchlist is never getting shorter! xD
