I have a neighbour in the backyard behind me always using a Chiminea Fire Pit & Grill blanketing the neighbourhood with smoke anytime it's nice open window weather. He's not cooking anything, he's just making smoke for a couple hours. I called the fire dept once and they showed up and gave him a pass.

I called them again and they said to stop calling and he's allowed to be doing that.

This really sucks cause I'd certainly like to be able to have my window open we we take our evening showers. Me and my backyard neighbour can't see each other, we have a 12' tall hedge in between. From my house it's about 30' to the hedge and he's just right on the other side, our lots aren't that deep.

When he's not out there making smoke he's listening to his music all day. He's a retired guy who gives no fucks. My brother was mentioning to have some high pitched frequency going on like those animal repellent device or something like that, but that could be traced back to me. Any tips to get this guy to fuck off?

I dont want to answer the door for the Telus or Bell guy and I don’t want them coming back because I didn‘t answer the door.

Yes I have a video door bell and don’t want to talk to anyone like that either because they’ll probably just want to come back.

Hello. I need the best available ear buds to use when sitting in a restaurant to block out the sounds of a kid at the table next to me playing on their mom's iphone. I still want to be able to hear my wife talk to me but it's very important I get the best possible product to eliminate the sounds of other people around me making noise or talking on speaker phone. Is the Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2nd gen the best product? I was also considering the Airpods Pro 3 and Sony WF-1000XM5.

Price is not a concern. I have never used earbuds for this type of setting before. I currently own Sennheiser CX earbuds but know they'll do nothing for this situation.
