Wanted a little palette cleanser for myself so painting up some of the awesome sculpts from Borgitz Beastgrabbaz. Had a lot of fun testing out a quick kinda messy style. Definitely putting more Gloomspite on my list of future projects...
New chaos releases got me to bite the bullet finally join in on old world!
Finished tester for my to-be Nurgle themed Warriors of Chaos army; using a unit of Maggotkin Rotswords as Chaos Chosen (with Mark of Nurgle of course). Just gotta make sure these fellas rank up nice o7
Very excited to get to all the new releases and sculpts now, and properly join the Old World fun!
Having a lot of fun, only the Hauptmann and Feldkaplan to go (until I get the other plastics anyway).
Pretend the helmet spikes dont look like candy corn (I cant wrap my head around painting that shape for some reason but OH WELL)
Finished my first Prussian Strosstruppen from the plastic warband! Though I might consider him more of a tester...
First time doing a mini in all 'NMM' style, but like, the way I like it (beaten and messy). Think it was mostly a success! Very excited to get to the rest!
Life got in the way and led to these guys taking way, way longer than they should have (hopefully the next squads wont take so long!)
Gaps in painting led to a little messiness, and its been a minute since I took a photo so its all a little oversaturated looking (oh woe, the nuance of the shading is lost etc etc), but I'm just pleased to be finished, and trying not to let the long time spent with these make me too over critical.
But oh well, onto the next squad for the warmaster o7
