Potential Ausbildung Opportunity

My dad who is currently working sa Croatia is merong kakilalang workmate na nagapply sa isang company sa germany. According to him working permit nalang daw yung hinihintay ng katrabaho nya.

Turns out, the company is expanding and majority ng workers nila is mga industrial electrician at technicians. And saktong sakto yung mga skills na meron ako para pasukin yung ganung line of work. I have tesda certifications.

As of now nag-aaral nako ng German language.

Need roadmap for ETO aspirant

Graduating ECE po ako na may tesda certifications for mechatronics.

Plano ko po magtrabaho sa industrial automation field then susubukan mag pasukin yung ETO after 2-3 years of experience.

I need some guide about my robotics journey

Hi r/AskRobotics!

I'm a graduating student from Southeast Asia, and I want to build a career in industrial robotics. I currently have foundational knowledge in PLC programming, ladder logic, FluidSim, and pneumatics—this is where my interest in automation started.

Now I want to take it further. My goal is to work in industrial robotics (ideally in Europe), and I'm planning to build a 6-DOF robot arm from scratch as my portfolio project.

Here's my plan:

  1. Design in Fusion 360 (parametric modeling + basic stress simulation)

  2. Validate kinematics using simulation software before building

  3. 3D print parts using Bambu Lab

  4. Source appropriate electronics & actuators (specs, dimensions, torque requirements)

  5. Program using Arduino/ESP32 (learning forward/inverse kinematics along the way - math isn't my strongest suit, but I'm committed to learning)

  6. Test, iterate, and document everything

  7. Use the complete documentation as my portfolio for job applications

My questions:

  1. Is this project realistic for a fresh grad with my background?

  2. What specific job titles/roles should I be targeting in industrial robotics?

\- I see terms like Controls Engineer, Systems Integrator, Automation Engineer, Robotics Software Engineer - which one fits my profile best?

  3. What skills should I prioritize learning to make myself employable in Europe (Germany/EU)?

  4. Is earning €5,000-6,000/month realistic for a mid-level robotics role in Europe?

  5. Any tips on what employers specifically look for in a portfolio?

Budget is limited, so I'm planning to simulate complex scenarios (like dynamic conveyor pick-and-place) rather than building everything physically.

Any advice, warnings, or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Best way para makapag work sa EU?

Plan ko, mag-ipon muna ng work experience dito, tapos mag-apply abroad. Gusto ko sana Denmark, Norway, or Switzerland.

Proposed solution? Maging EU citizen which is around 8-10 years residency, haha.

Pero syempre, ang pinaka-problema pa rin is paano ba ako makapapasok ng Europe in the first place?

May suggestions or advice ba kayo? If wala akong malalapitang tao para irefer ako in the future, siguro etong path nalang yung pagdadaanan ko. Gusto ko na lumayas dito haha.

Mechatronics career

Im fresh grad and balak ko po mag abroad few years from now. I already have ncIV mechatronics servicing from TESDA. My plan has 2 pathways:

  1. Mag build ng 1-2 years experience sa pilipinas. Then start na magtry mag apply. I dont know if mas maganda ipursue yung direct hire from jobsites or mas ok kung sa mga agencies mag walk in.

It will serve as my stepping stone para makalapit sa mga target kong countries like finland, and norway(offshore).

Sana po mabigyan nyoko ng tamang guide para mapaghandaan po nang maayos yung career ko in the future. Salamat po.

Aspiring Dev journey

Currently nag aaral ako ng Javascript, absorbing fundamental lessons as much as possible tapos natututo ng totoong programming language.

Ang hirap lang sakin is inooverthink ko masyado yung pag design ng ui manually like paggawa ng buttons with hovers, other components kahit na may sapat nakong knowledge para aralin yung css frameworks like tailwind. Hindi ko kasi alam kung how much fundamental is enough before i move on learning this stuff.

Pagdating naman sa javascript gusto ko talaga syang seryosohin kasi pag namaster ko yung principle ng programming is mas madali ng magtransition between other languages kasi mostly syntax lang pinagkaiba.

After that saka ko na aaralin yung react.

Wala pa kasi nag ga guide sakin kaya mahalaga yung insights nyo braders at sisters.
