Anyone else prefer following founders who share the messy parts too?

Most startup content online feels super polished now.

You usually only see:
- wins
- funding announcements
- growth screenshots
- lessons after everything already worked

But honestly, I’ve learned way more from founders who share the messy middle while they’re actually building.
Things like:
- bad decisions
- pivots
- features that failed
- uncertainty
- figuring things out in real time

Feels way more useful than perfectly packaged advice.
Anyone else follow creators/founders like that?

Has anyone here tried changing their diet based on genetics or metabolism?

I’ve been reading more about personalized health lately and found GeneLean360° and Dr. Phyllis Pobee’s work. The idea is basically that your genes can influence things like cravings, metabolism and how your body reacts to certain foods.

At first I thought it sounded gimmicky but after reading more about it, it actually seems pretty logical. Curious if anyone here has experience with this type of approach.

Apps for better decision making?

I run a small SaaS and often I catch myself overthinking a single change of a landing page. I always wish i could make decisions more efficiently and not overthink past failures. I have worked with some ai tools that highlight patterns that hold you back but I guess I never really had time for these or thought they would be helpful. But now after trials and tribulations I want to give them a chance. Any apps that could shine a light on my unhealthy patterns that hold me back?

Seeing people post about Tim Han changing their lives in months while I’m still figuring it out

Social media makes personal development look so linear. Someone discovers Tim Han, applies the concepts, transforms their life in 90 days, then posts about it like everything suddenly clicked.
Meanwhile I’m like 6 months in and still dealing with some of the same patterns. Progress feels slow sometimes. Some days I genuinely feel like I haven’t changed at all.
Logically I know comparison is pointless and everyone’s journey is different. But emotionally it’s hard not to feel like I’m doing something wrong.
I’ve definitely had small wins. I’m way more self-aware now, less reactive, and better socially than I used to be. But I’m nowhere near the “my whole life changed overnight” stage people talk about.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m overthinking the concepts instead of actually applying them. Or maybe behavioral psychology just takes longer to integrate than social media makes it seem.
Anyone else here feel behind in their personal development journey? How do you stop comparing your progress to everyone else’s highlight reel?

Is fetch pet insurance good? any chihuahua owners have advice?

I have a chihuahua puppy and im looking into fetch pet. for anyone who has been down this path before is fetch pet actually good for chihuahuas. trying to think ahead because i know these little dogs can run into things like dental issues luxating patella heart problems collapsing trachea and maybe injuries from how tiny they are. dont want the cheapest option, definitely focused on fetch because they have a good reputation for coverage. would love to hear if pet insurance was worth it compared to just paying out of pocket or starting a savings account.

Trying to compare AI tools became a nightmare, so I made a simple side-by-side page for myself

Lately every AI tool claims it can replace your workflow, save 20 hours a week, change your life, etc 😅

I kept opening endless tabs trying to compare stuff like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney, Notion AI and a bunch of others.

Most “review” sites felt super biased or clearly written just for affiliate clicks, so I made a simple page for myself to compare features, pricing, use cases, and strengths in one place.

Ended up turning it public in case it helps anyone else too:

Most Popular AI Tools

Still adding more tools/categories, but it already saved me a lot of time personally.

Curious what AI tool people here actually use every day now after the hype settled down.

We started checking prospect profiles/ reviews before outreach recently, just scanning them quickly and looking at their ratings, activity etc. and it’s actually easy to see whether the profile looks alive or not and how it will do in terms of responsiveness.
Businesses with active profiles and good reputation usually reply faster and convert easier and the messier ones usually correlate with slower sales cycles. Yes it’s that easy and we can see it even from a quick glance at a profile.
now we use Getpin to check this quickly before campaigns and it saves time. Maybe it’s nothing new but the pattern keeps repeating

I've been googling nonstop and every place looks the same. “top rated”, “expert care”, etc. starting to feel like it’s all marketing. did anyone here actually find a physio that made a real difference?

I recently moved one of my Node apps there and it’s been decent so far. Not the easiest setup compared to some platforms, but I like the extra control.

Still testing things out curious if others have had good or bad experiences?

So what is the story with this company? They appeared suddenly around a year ago and claim to be from Singapore, but also claim to be based in Bangkok. They claim to be a software company but also claim to be a visa agency.

They are an “automated recruiting and compliance platform for your international workforce” but they also advertise “volunteer” and “education” visas for Thailand…

Incredibly, they have acquired over 800+ positive reviews on Google Maps and Trustpilot practically overnight. Thai Visa Centre is also promoting them on their new subreddit ( r / thailandvisa ) which is peculiar– are they business partners?

Note: I’m reposting this on behalf of another user who posted it last month, it was removed after Thai Visa Centre bots flagged it as spam.
