Do you think the 6-mile trawling ban will improve fishing on the east coast?

Just wondering what people think about the new 6-mile trawling ban coming in.

I’ve been fishing around the east coast this year and honestly, I’ve found the fishing pretty poor compared with last year. I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed the same or if it’s just been bad luck for me.

Do you think keeping the bigger trawlers out of the inshore waters will actually make much difference to fish numbers around places like Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford?

Obviously there are loads of other factors that affect fish stocks, but I’m curious whether people think we might see better shore fishing over the next few years because of the ban.

No respect for cars in Dublin

I bought my car last year not a single scratch on it. Year later dented doors, scratched from bags shopping trolleys.

People have zero respect for cars. I don't care that much but definitely it hurts when the paint was in great condition.

I always avoid parking close to other cars.

I do live in densely populated area so maybe that's why but how many people parked so close to me I could barely open the doors while the parking was empty it's crazy.

Cognitively gifted autistic people

Hi,

I was wondering if there were any groups, chats or meetings for autistic people that would like to talk about interesting stuff. I feel kinda alienated recently dealing with people is exhausting especially since I hate explaining stuff repeatedly. It would be nice to find people that would understand my way of thinking share interests etc. I am no genius but it's tiring that I can't find people who are at least a bit curious and understanding about advanced topics. Share your thoughts please.

Crossing the street without looking

What is your opinion about people crossing the street, often very busy ones without looking around?

As a car driver I pay attention but I had a recent argument with one person who walked in front of me from behind a bus. I stopped instantly but he started yelling about his safety and tried to hit my car.

What are you supposed to do I drive the speed limit and look forward way ahead but it's just a lack of common sense to just walk on a busy street and expect people to stop for you. Or am I wrong?
