Dedicated Healing/support setup and play style that doesn’t require items to be effective? Yet can serve as a strong self sustainable or defensive set

So im in high ranks HR 200 killed gog, im building up my true “endgame” armor setup now and have always enjoyed the healing role, however in mh wilds i have no idea how this works i know its often horn or healing items with wide range. So I'm wondering people who play like this how do they run their equipment and all. And what should a new player to this role consider

For context ive used the horn a bit but haven't make a true “horn build” or support setup. It's more i would just equip a horn on my existing gear and go

CDDA for a newbie

So ive dabbled in CDDA before a bit and had picked up TLG on steam as it gets regular updates and have the launcher for base DDA

For a newbie which is arguably better i know TLG is harder and more combat centered which makes me tempted to learn on it and go back to DDA, but I'm not sure I'm very new and i typically would just max my stats tinker around a bit etc

So is it worth trying to build a proper character in TLG and learn there and fo back to DDA

I know DDA is probably the sanaw choice and most would say use DDA and then try the other forks but im 50/50 on dda i like how customizable it is but i feel like im missing the point of the game in dda making it easier.

Hunting horn survival guide for a controller casual HR

So im a very casual player who does stuff mostly with support hunters or duo with my friend i play a variety of weapons

Greatsword, bow, lance/gunlance heavy bow gun, glave, sword and shield.

However i al struggling on the horn. My main issue im finding is struggling with my notes vs the monster’s artacks and an often focused on when im stuck in the open I've neen thinking about trying the horn more and using it as I often enjoy the medic role in games what's a good starting point for me?

Im in high rank preping for gog with
Queen chordmaker

Ai strength values?

So I’ve been playing this game for awhile as it truly imo captures the spirit or nascar 06 (i really badly want to play this again…)

However i run the steering and assists, mostly because of the fact of i play very casually and don’t have a wheel. However Ive consistently been able to smoke the field, passing half the cars in lap 1 now i have downloaded the seller’s gaming 2026 ai but haven’t installed it as my computer is currently down.

In my past races Ive noticed the ai will be very skittish going into a turn, what i mean is is like on the turns of tracks like California or Daytona they’ll lock up almost any deliberately slow down. More-so evident on tracks like dover also.

thus a wreck happens i was wondering what ai strength you would run for a more realistic experience where the ai is competent enough to be able or keep up

So im playing with RBM and am really enjoying myself, and have thought about installing a few more mods. Im really debating the enlisted mod. But am wondering what people think of it, and any other mods people use that they consider must have.
