I just came across this webpage by Shrey Tyagi, after hearing that Badal (bnftv) watched Brand New Day on a *non-PLF* screen but still with Tall Aspect Ratio.

I am on a 14 inch MacBook Pro - M2 Pro, on the latest Tahoe build- 26.5.2, and since the last two weeks or so I am having a very high idle battery drain. Like, ~40% idle drain while sleeping, in 12 hours overnight, while the same used to be 3-4% at max before.
By default I have kept the keyboard behaviour to be at the lowest non-zero backlight and turn off after 1 minute. But after going to sleep, it's coming back on at 100%.
This time I observed that the backlight flickering show ended after roughly 30 seconds. I think this is linked to the high battery drain issue.
After I told ChatGPT for the battery issue, it said it could be DarkWake causing the drain, but this has never been the issue cuz with the lid closed, usually the BT devices don't connect to Macbook.
Also, it shouldn't be a problem due to Bluetooth as Bluetooth has always been on for the laptop for almost the past three years
Is this a known issue? My extended AppleCare expires on 4th August, so would they be able to help?
Completely unsure what to do, please help.
Edit: I manually went to the top left and clicked on sleep, and was able to successfully replicate the issue. The flickering continues
Edit 2: I pressed Shut Down and the backlight is still on at 100%.. not flickering but stuck at full brightness. HELP.
Edit 3: I went through the diagnostics via holding the power button and the. Holding command + D. Everything looks fine there. However, after restarting, the behaviour has kind of flipped. I am getting the 100% keyboard backlight on sleep, and flickering on shutdown.

Hello, I've been brewing coffee manually using Moka Pot, Aeropress & sometimes using French Press, for two years now, and mostly drink with milk (hot and iced), and rarely black while hot. Iced americano is fine.
I recently got Agaropresso / Har Ghar Espresso Yojana and I've been grinding my regular beans at 10 clicks on C2 as recommended by others on the sub and getting surprisingly good brews that actually smell and taste like espresso (Which I also like to have directly sometime)
So, my question is, would you recommend any coffee pods for the same?
I checked BT Coffee Pods but they cost like 450 for 10 pods, where each pod holds just 5.5 gms, and that sounds like an irresponsibly expensive purchase - but I definitely don't mind trying once...
So please recommend what I should get

Hello guys, I have been using the built-in object eraser since I have received this phone (as I was used to it on my prev-s20fe and it was an upgraded version of it)
But with OneUI 8.5, looks like they have obliterated the local object eraser in favour of the internet connected ✨AI Erase✨ one.
Am I missing something?
Even Google Photos AI Erase works offline but where did samsung gallery one go 🫠
I went to watch Project Hail Mary in IMAX to Eros INOX IMAX theater at Churchgate, Mumbai, India and here's the review.
Getting the specs out of the way first, this is a 1.90 IMAX with Laser (IMAX XT Laser 3D) venue with 5CH audio. The screen is 55 Feet Wide, with the screen spanning top to the floor.
I will not repeat things that were covered by u/kdcloudy, just some quick updates
- The best row be seated is probably H. we were on E, and it felt like I am quite far from the screen.
- This theater usually has cheaper tickets than the other Laser IMAXes in Mumbai, and at times also cheaper than the Xenon ones.
- The projector quality is great, and the contrast was very well managed even in the dark scenes.
- The sound system is great too, absolutely no complains on that side. (Will recommend Dolby Atmos/Cinema and the IMAX CoLa at Phoenix Palladium for 12CH IMAX for even better experience)
- However, during the bright scenes, the light reflects on theater's iconic white decor on the sides.
- The screen is still wrinkled at the center. You can see the horizontal lines at the center of the screen, and it is noticeable during bright scenes.
This theater worked out for me for Project Hail Mary because it was a mostly dark movie, but if I was watching a movie like Dune here, I would definitely be disappointed.
it's a good last option for laser IMAX because it's close to Churchgate Station & usually cheaper than other IMAX venues. I will still hold Wadala and Borivali higher. (will try Palladium and BKC soon. Viviana is old xenon, but still decent if tickets are reasonable.)
