Hi all. I've been working for Babel for about a month (video/audio projects). Apparently, the project is coming to a close soon.
I don't understand if i'm supposed to wait until a new project appears on the dashboard, or if i'm supposed to seek out new ones and then put in an application.
I would really appreciate some guidance. Thank you in advance!
Hi all! I need a solution for an echo that I'm having, when on my computer at my desk.
I realize I can attempt to buy a more expensive mic, but I would like to put some acoustic panels set up on my L-shaped desk. Because when i'm sitting at it, i'm speaking out into a large room.
I did find something, but it's a 6- week lead time. And I need something this week ideally.
I've identified some good acoustic panels, but I just see no way to actually get them to stand on my desk, either flat or 1 inch or so up.
Saw something on youtube for building my own, but I have no carpentry skills.
I'm thinking some sort of bracket or foot that could be adjustable and hold the two inch thick panels. But I can't for the life of me find anything.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Was so bummed to see this disappear today. I had 35 in the queue when it suddenly was done.
Anyone know if something may replace this soon? And will it just pop up in the dashboard? Or I have to apply for others?
I can't believe they did it, but a family member barged into my house, came up the stairs, and then was two feet away from me while I was 1 min into a call!
I tried to quickly wave them away, and then it was such a disaster, I clicked out.
Anyone have suggestions on what I should do? Should I contact support and let them know what happened?
UPDATE: With God all things are possible. Friends, a real and true miracle has occurred! My grandson had the surgery yesterday. However, God has shielded him completely and fully!
The expected recovery was 7 to 10 days to feel better, with quite bad pain for the first 5 to 7 days or so.
However, since waking from anesthesia, throughout the car ride home, throughout the night, throughout today, and now a full 24 hours afterwards, this precious child has felt no pain. None.
This is with no strong pain medications. A small amount of Children's Tylenol and ibuprofen only. There is no medical explanation. This is God's work.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to all that prayed for my sweet boy, my best friend. May merciful God shine his loving light on this entire prayer group.
Have no doubt God is listening. Have no doubt group prayer is powerful. Have no doubt God sees you. He hears your prayers. Believe in your prayers. Believe that your prayer has been answered even as the words pass by your lips.

Hi all. I've had a good old fashioned Kenmore washer for many many years (model 110.24632300). Today it stopped in the middle of a cycle. And there was a burning smell. No matter what I turn or press, it doesn't make any noise.
Repair guy wants 180 just to tell me if it's repairable.
I'd love to hear advice on what to do.
