Anyone taking Upadacitinib (Rinvoq) with omeprazole? Any issues/interactions?

Hey all, I’m on Upadacitinib (Rinvoq) for eczema and was wondering if anyone here also takes omeprazole (Prilosec) for reflux/stomach stuff. I cant seem to find online any info on this so want to hear if anyone taken them both?

Thanks 😄

Using 30% urea cream for fungal toenail, am I applying this correctly?

Hey everyone, I (Age 25, Male, Dont smoke, 178cm tall) got a fungal toenail and the pharmacist recommended 30% urea balm since they didn’t have 40%.

I’m a bit unsure how to use it properly. My understanding was that urea helps soften and break down thick nail so it can be trimmed down more easily, but I’m not sure about the routine.

What I’ve been doing / planning:

  • Apply urea cream to the entire affected toenail at night
  • Leave it on overnight
  • Shower in the morning to wash it off
  • Repeat daily for 2 weeks

My question is:

  • Is this the correct way to use 30% urea for a fungal toenail?
  • How often should it actually be applied?
  • Will the nail actually loosen or come off on its own?
  • I dont need to cut/trim any of it off right (I tried but its so difficult and scary) I thinkk it should be ok not to cut it since youre applying the Urea 30% balm on the entire fungal toenail.

Any help much appreciated thanks.

Wellington City Council just slashed CAB funding by more than half

Didn’t realise this was happening. Wellington CABs help like 11,000 people a year with housing, jobs, benefits, legal info etc, and WCC just cut their funding from about $230k to $100k. Kinda rough timing with all the layoffs and cost of living stuff going on.

Does anyone know why whenever I order from Taobao, it says the payee is Taobao Melbourne? My assumption is Taobao now has a warehouse in Melbourne?

Do NZ public hospitals really not have access to your full medical history?

Took my grandpa to Wellington Hospital ED today and the nurse asked my grandma about his past medications/conditions. We asked if they could already seee that stuff in the system and they said theyyy only really have records from previous hospital visits, not GP records/ManageMyHealth info.

That surprised me tbh. I would’ve thought public hospitals, especially emergency departments could access your medical history from your GP since its all part of the public health system.

Is this normal in NZ? Are GP systems and hospital systems really that separate?

Does anyone know where I can watch the full stream of Ludwig’s or any of his CS2 Minor Tournament teammates’ POVs for the whole CS2 game? I can’t seem to find anyone’s except for players on other teams.

Hey guys Im looking for the full POV streams/VODs from Ludwig or any of his teammates during the CS2 Minor Tournament matches. I’ve only been able to find POVs from players (such as Fuslie, QuarterJade, on other teams so far.

Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Update: Ok good news. I found it from StableRonaldos and itzTimmy Twitch. Have attached their POV links in their names for those that might want to watch. I recommend StableRonaldos VOD though since his stream includes all cams for everyone on his team 😄.

Itchiness and dryness after starting Upadacitinib (day 5) — normal or side effect?

Hi everyone,

My mum recently started Upadacitinib (Rinvoq) for eczema and she’s on day 5.

The first 4 days were great with no issues, but today she suddenly developed itchiness and dryness on her neck and upper back. No rash or swelling, just dry and itchy skin.

Has anyone experienced something similar a few days after starting this medication?

Could this be a normal early side effect, or should we be concerned about an allergic reaction?

Any advice or shared experiences would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

University students made a KOTOR fan film — it premieres in 2 minutes (free)

Hey everyone, just sharing this because it’s about to go live and I thought this sub would appreciate it.

A group of university students has put together a KOTOR fan film, and it’s premiering on YouTube in just a couple of minutes. It’s a passion project, completely free to watch, and clearly made by people who love the Old Republic era.

They’re also planning a part 2, so this is the start of a longer project.

If you’ve got a few minutes, it might be worth checking out and showing some support to the creators, they’ve put a lot of effort into it.

I was wondering, if someone had the Tdap vaccine as a child and didn’t have any noticeable reaction at the time, and now it’s been about 15–20 years and they’re due for a booster, does that mean they’re unlikely to be allergic now? Or is it still possible to develop an allergy to it later on?

Also, if they did have a allergic reaction, how do medical staff usually handle this? Will they insert something to extract the vaccine liquid out?

Ive also been curious about this for a while. Any help much appreciated

I log into the Reolink app on either my phone or PC. I go to “Advanced,” select the specific camera, then find the “Advanced” button again and go to “Share Device.”

One thing I don’t quite understand is what to enter in the “Remark” field, it seems to accept anything. After I get a code, should I scan it or take a photo of it?

Any help would be much appreciated. It used to be different, but now it’s changed.

Like I’m genuinely curious, how are people finding out about new Reolink cameras (both upcoming and already available)?

For example, things like the Elite XPro PoE and even the Professional series. I’ve spent quite a while browsing the Reolink website, but I can’t seem to find any clear info or listings for these. Are there other places people check for announcements or early releases? Or are some of these cameras available to buy without being officially listed on their site?

Would really appreciate if someone could explain how this works.
