Papal bulla(lead seal) of Honorius IV who was Pope from 1285 to 1287. A seal like this would be attached to a document issued by a Pope. On one side are the heads of St. Paul and St. Peter with SPA and SPE above. On the other side, in three lines, is hOnO RIVS PP IIII = Honorius Papa/Pope the 4th.
Found its way from Rome to middle of nowhere France and 739 years later i waked over it. I cant stop wondering what kind of message it was attached to… A seal like this has been on my bucket list and im so happy to finally find one and quite uncommon i believe as he was a Pope only for 2 years.
