For the last two years I booted up my Chromebook by entering the device password. That is untill yesterday when it booted into my Google login page. When I rebooted it did the exact same thing. Im clueless as to why this happened. How do I simply enter my device's password without having to implement a complete Google login?

There is no access to the settings on the main note page that shows all my 43 categorized notes. I have to go to an individual note, then I have access to the settings to export. Am I exporting only that category or are all 43 being backed up?

I've been an ASUS fan, but my ASUS RT-BE58U just tanked (red light of death) so been looking at the TP-Link BE3600. It looked good to me until I read this guy's review (2025). He mentions it's not Wi-Fi 7, password length is capped at 30 and there is no admin login. Your opinions and knowledge kare greatly appreciated.

"I was initially excited to get the TP-Link BE3600 router because it was marketed as Wi-Fi 7. However, I quickly discovered that it actually operates on Wi-Fi 6. While it’s labeled as a Wi-Fi 7 router, it doesn’t support the full Wi-Fi 7 specification — specifically, it’s missing the 6 GHz band, which significantly impacts performance. As an experienced system administrator, I was looking forward to the advancements that Wi-Fi 7 promises, so this was quite disappointing. Additionally, since this is a 2 x 2 Wi-Fi router, it offers only half the theoretical performance of other dual-band Wi-Fi 7 peers, like the Asus RT-BE88U. On a positive note, the speeds are phenomenal; I’ve managed to configure the router to exceed the speeds I’m capped at by my ISP which is 150Mbps.

I usually install DD-WRT on my routers for more control, but unfortunately, that’s not an option with the BE3600. The firmware provided by TP-Link is decent, but I prefer the customization that DD-WRT offers.

While the router does have some positive features, such as WPA3 security and the ability to easily set up a VPN, the limitations are frustrating. There’s no admin login option, just a password login, and the password length is capped at 30 characters, which is far less than my preferred 72 characters for stronger security. Furthermore, the log file doesn’t collect any useful informational logs, making troubleshooting a challenge. On the plus side, it integrates well with TP-Link's mesh network, but overall, the misleading marketing and limitations make it a livable router until I find something better.

Seriously, TP-Link, the lack of an admin login, detailed traffic logs, and capped password lengths leave me rating this router a 4."

My KeePass2Android's timeout is set for 10 minutes, yet when I leave the app to go to my browser after about 30 seconds, I go back to KP2A and it has logged itself out. This is getting really frustrating. I've gone over the settings many times and I cannot seem to fix this. What am I missing?

I just realized the reason I'm getting a total dark theme throughout my tablet is because I have it selected in developer mode. I don't like to have developer mode selected, but I found out if I turn it off I lose a lot of my dark theme except for a few apps that have their own dark theme selection.

Is there any way I can get 100% dark mode theme throughout my tablet and not have the developer mode selected? (－︵ლ)

A love repurposing old machines, but I've been having an issue with distros dropping 32-bit. I just loaded antiX on an old notebook and I couldn't be happier. Bit of a learning curve with all the settings coming from Debain, but I'm having fun. I just want to thank whoever put this out. Everything is working as it should. My next challenge is to see if I can get ProtonVPN to work.

Recently, my Brave browser has decided to continually loop on multiple login pages. I enter username/password, hit enter and I'm back at the login page with both entries empty. I've done nothing to the settings. It just happened one day. Before it was working great. Anyone having this issue?

(Update: 05/2026)The UI still isnt good. Text looks washed out, no pinch zoom and no dark theme. All of which makes it hard to read for the visually impaired and seniors, Also been getting, "something went wrong. Come back later." Documents not loading and/or downloads not working. Biometrics is a plus. Did I mention no pinch zoom! (⊙_◎)/¯
