Outdoor Set up?

I have a covered porch out back with good wifi. Sunlight isnt horrible but its definitely bright.

Anyone have a cool outdoor set up for working outside in an environment like that? I think i can get away with a laptop for when I want to work outside, but any tips for reducing sun glare etc?

Wife Diagnosed with MS - Canada

My wife was finally diagnosed, and IMO it took way too long but that's another topic. We have meetings with neuro + other doctors now as follow ups and i want to make sure we ask good questions. I would love input from the community here!

Sorry about some of the numbering, i removed questions with personally identifiable info. Again my ask here is just to know which questions we should ask my wife's team. I want to make sure I don't miss anything critical.

  1. INO recovery -> steroids required?
  2. Data says strong DMTs asap. Thoughts? This and BTK inhibitors for smouldering?
  3. Similar things like NMOSD rules out due to the blood tests?
  4. Family panning - 2 more kids
  5. Monitoring plan -> MRI frequency?
  6. Drug testing protocol + risks
  7. Cognitive baseline testing, worth doing?
  8. Other factors - diet, exersize?
  9. What things to avoid 100%? Wife does not smoke

And then my other questions for you guys:

  1. What are other things we should be doing in parallel to support my wife?
  2. What are low risk but potentially helpful things to try?
  3. Is it worth paying to get second/third opinions from MS specialized neuros?
  4. I'm ok spending ~$100k - $200k a year on whatever is needed for her. What should we FOR SURE spend on with that in mind? What are the no brainers? I want to go all out because even a slight improvement in quality of life is worth it for her.

Japanese Monster m3

Very, very delicious, and tbh I don't normally like monster flavors. It is nitrogenated instead of carbonated. Has a very smooth taste.

Blancpain Finishing is better than patek or ap

no chatter marks at all on the anglage

all 3 brands do things with hand held tools and then clean up anglage by hand but BP does a WAY better job.

unreal how good the finishing is on a watch I got for 7500 😂

Looking to Improve at my Craft....Your favorite books?

Problem:
I've been writing for business purposes across a few mediums & it's basically made my career. But...I feel like my writing has not improved much in ~6 - 8 years. It is getting stale and my rate of improvement is not good.

Where I Need Help:
I'm looking for book recommendations on how to improve my skill set. Most of my time spent writing falls into two buckets:

  1. Persuasive essay pitches. Pitches where I am trying to convince someone to take money from us, or raise capital and;

  2. Short form content on social. Usually written very casually.

I guess books on how to write persuasively would be the most helpful.

Knife Recommendations!

I am new to knives, but I have a Petrified Fish Hummingbird which I got recently for my wife. It looks quite cool and now I want something.

If I am being honest, I am not going to use the knife for anything other than opening boxes and a few other things.

I love the look of WE Knives, in particular, this one: WE22028 and also the newer Fluxor model.

Assuming a max budget of ~$1500 USD, what else should I consider?

I want something kind of overengineered, ideally in titanium, and relatively small.

I don't care where it's made, just want something disgustingly sleek/overengineered lol

I am located in Canada if it matters.

Thanks!

Nexus Denied?

I’ve been travelling between the US/CAN since I was 20 or so multiple times a year. Sometimes as often as once a mo. they rarely even ask me anything when I cross.

im Canadian and was born here, and they denied my nexus. the guy that interviewed me was kind of a dumbass and couldn’t really understand what I did for work and asked me why I didn’t have business cards (lmao).

ive even had multiple TN visas before and spent 6 years living in the US np lol.

any ideas? worth having my lawyer that did tn visas for me deal with this? or dumb idea?
