posting this here on his behalf as he's tried posting things to reddit but it just will not let him post due to server errors and other weird things no matter how many accounts he tries.

Credit goes to a guy named Voltaged who is aforementioned friend, I'm just posting this on his behalf.

drive isn't the original one (it's a replacement one from 2009 or 2010) and it is a hand me down but it still works and gets a small bit of use.

surprisingly the battery in it is still the original as far as im aware and it does hold a decent charge, probably cause it was in storage in a cool environment for the guts of 10 years until 2021.

It will probably see more use when I get better earbuds for it.

... just don't ask about how painful getting Neon Genesis Evangelion on it was.

and i still don't know if the audio and video are fucked or not like how they were the last time.

well ✨️jank componentisation✨️ works and uxtheme got patched successfully.

also LogonUI from Longhorn 3683 which is supposed to feature in the Starter and Enterprise SKUs has showed up, without a clock however.

... gonna need to add that.

(Media Center is supposed to be Ultimate's base)
