More information

Asking for Knowledge from Turntable experts, purchased this Eatons Viking 1951/1952 Radiogram, the speakers work and the turntable does as well, as it is a tube model we know to be careful and not leave it plugged in, i mainly purchased because i love the look and history of This Model made in Canada. Can a replacement Needle or full arm assembly be added here?

it looks like it's possible but I have never tried to restore a record player before, any suggestions or tips are very helpful.

Have been unboxed from another Reddit user the thought that the heavy tonearm, will destroy records if it could be fixed. Is it possible to swap out the whole tonearm with a better one? or should I just keep this as a display/radio/bluetooth piece the speakers and radio work great.
