Hello fellow mechanics!

The rear shock on my Orbea Wild is faulty as it no longer holds pressure. Since I’m a heavier rider, I’m considering switching to a coil shock, specifically the Fox DHX2 Factory. My current shock has dimensions of 205x65mm, but the DHX2 is only available in 205x60mm.

How will the difference affect my geometry? Has anyone installed a coil shock on their Orbea Wild? If so, could you share your experiences regarding fit and riding performance?

I came across a rider at my local trails who was totally unfazed by the creaking noise his brake rotor was producing. At the trails end I realised his rear axle was already poking out 2 cm. His response was, that he was aware his brakes were "fading", but he thought it was due to overheating.

I fixed his axle on the spot, so he could ride his ways.

If you don't know what you are doing, you are endangering yourself and others. If you want to learn how to maintain your bike, there are people who will teach you the basics.

Nun ist es passiert, ich habe mit einem neuen Rad erstmalig einen Schlauch mit Prestaventil verbaut und just verliert der Schlauch über mehrere Tage den gesamten Luftdruck. Ein Tauchbad hat ergeben dass beim Ventil selbst eine geringe Menge Luft entweicht.

Nun meine Frage: Lohnt es sich das Ventil zu tauschen oder soll ich gleich den ganzen Schlauch ersetzen?
