Those who wear bras and have lost 50lbs+, how often did you buy a new bra size? Any tips on finding that new size?
I’m unsure about r/abrathatfits because the size they gave me was something I’ve never seen sold in a store. So I went to shop for a bra yesterday. I tried on about 8 bras before giving up. Sizes that seem like they should be similar, were drastically different. (I only tried on one brand). 42DD was way too small. 44DD was way too big.
I just gave up and bought a new sports bra. I’m tempted to just keep only wearing sports bras until I’m closer to goal weight.
How did you work through this change?

A little about me:I'm a 33 year old network engineer. I’m also a part time student at MSU Denver.I enjoy spending my time pretty well split between staying in and going out. I keep busy with gym, friends, reading, gardening, and home improvement. My next project will be turning the front yard into a drought-tolerant pollinator paradise. I am considering a small garden again this year.
