Ancestry vs 23&Me

Is 23&Me a viable option/worth the money for USA based matches?

I did an ancestry test about 2 years ago now & to my suprise... I don't know who my dad is!

The best paternal match I've had to work with this whole time is only 230cM's & this is also including MyHeritage, FTDNA & GEDmatch.

Ethnically I am nothing but Irish, however a very large portion of my matches live in the United States.

The conversion rate to AUD for the 23&Me inc shipping brings it in over $200 which is the most expensive so far so before I spend a fuel tanks worth of $$ im hoping to get some insight as to wether it will be worth the money or not?

Spotted Pardalote

Spotted Pardalote in Northern Victoria.
Only my second time ever spotting these guys out in the wild (although I’m sure I’ve walked past them hundreds of times)
You can see how tiny they really are in comparison to the gum leaves!

Milk Toast

My results as an Aussie…
Not too sure what I was expecting, but needless to say I’m about as white and plain as they come.
I mean I knew I was pale, but fucking hell.

Senior dog mutilating her foot

Hello vets! firstly I appreciate your time & any advice you have.
I have a 12 year old female Border Collie, Ivy.
She weighs 15kg and is currently on Previcox 90mg and Gabapentin 300mg for arthritis in her hind quarters.
She is neutered, fully vaccinated, wormed every 3 months and we’re located in Australia.

2 weeks ago I noticed she’s been aggressively chewing on her left hind foot, completely chewed 2 nails off and made a right mess of it.
Off to the vets we went and the vet determined it was most likely due to nerve pain as there’s no sign of any allergies or foreign bodies so she’s now finished a weeks worth of oral antibiotics, Neocort x2 daily and is now taking gabapentin for the nerve pain.
Unfortunately she’s still aggressively chewing at the foot any chance she gets & still quite often making it bleed.
Unfortunately she’s able to access her foot with her cone on, & I purchased a 4 pack of what are essentially “doggy crocs” and she has now completely chewed through 2 out of 4 booties, and has also successfully chewed off a full wrap with cohesive bandage.

I called my vets office and explained what’s going on and she said I need to give it another week or two for the Gabapentin to take full effect.
I am just at a complete loss on what to do/where to go from here.
Should I seek a second opinion, and what are my options going forward?

Seen on FB in a photography group, looks too perfectly posed and polished. Claims no photoshop or AI.

Have crossed out the photographers name, hence the black smudge in the bottom left hand corner.
I can’t see any glaringly obvious tell tale signs.

Over exposed?

Hey everyone! I’ve been out today at the bust giving my new lens a whirl (Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM II)
I managed to snap a beautiful Koala & a Red Rumped Parrot, I did some minor adjustments in Lightroom just with the tone curve and slightly warming them up.
I had some feedback from a fellow photographer that they’re well over exposed and not natural looking and I need to “tone it down”
Am I having complete light blindness? I know I have some highlights that are quite bright on the parrot and maybe a touch too much magenta on the koala but it’s got me second guessing everything! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Shot on a canon r50 @ 1/800 f/5.6 & ISO 6400 and ISO 2400 for the koala.
