Hi, I'm currently playing Kill Team, but I would like to start 40k. However, I cannot choose a chapter. I'm thinking of starting with a general Space Marine army where I can use my previous Kill Team units, but I would pick a main chapter that I could build on later. First I would start with a 1000 point army.
I'm considering the Black Templars, Blood Angels, White Scars, and Raven Guard.
I already have Templar and Blood Angel kill teams as a starting point.
I would like to use some jump pack units, and I would also like to get some bikes or jet bikes.
Whats the best combat patrol box/ starting box to start with?

I was a kill team player, but now Im thinking on to start a 40k army. I have several chaos marines kill team.
My question would be is there any page where i can watch is there any page where i can watch how the heroes/characters would boost/effect my units?
(For example i guess some iron wariorrs character boost terminator or vehlices.)
I saw on newrecruit tat i can use different chaos marines with one force within one army.
I have several kill teams: murderwing, nemesis claw, 2 plague marines team, and 2 legionaries team, one emperors children and one thousand sons themed is what i am building now. And I would extend this with some hero/character, maybe some terminator, or rhinos, and I want to assemble an army from them, i have not decided 1000 or 2000 pts.
