Built a plant disease scanner with progress tracking — free PRO codes for first 20 who give feedback

Hey all,

Just shipped Plant Doctor to the Play Store. Photo of a sick leaf → AI diagnoses disease, pest, or nutrient issue → organic + chemical treatment options, all under 2 seconds. Also added a progress tracking feature so users can monitor recovery over time as they apply treatments

Stack: Kotlin 2.0 + Jetpack Compose + MVVM + StateFlow + Supabase + RevenueCat + CameraX

Why I'm here: Want real feedback before scaling. Curious whether the diagnosis holds up on edge cases, and whether the progress tracking UX actually makes sense to people outside my head.

Broken? Tell me. Architecture embarrassing? Roast me. I reply to everything — happy to go deep on the AI integration or RevenueCat + Supabase sync.

Built Plant Doctor with Kotlin + Gemini 2.5 + Compose. 1 month FREE PRO for first 20 Sri Lankan devs for code feedback

Hey r/DevLK,

Finally shipped my side project to Play Store after 6 months of night coding from Colombo.

Plant Doctor - AI plant disease scanner

  1. CameraX -> Take photo of plant leaf

  2. Gemini 2.5 Flash API -> Diagnose disease/pest/nutrient issue in 2 seconds

  3. Supabase -> Store scan history + user data

  4. RevenueCat -> Free tier 5 scans/day, PRO unlimited

  5. Jetpack Compose + MVVM + StateFlow + Coroutines

Stack: Kotlin 2.0, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Room, Supabase, RevenueCat, Gemini API, CameraX

Why posting here:

Need feedback from Sri Lankan devs before scaling ads/marketing.

Architecture overengineered? Gemini prompts can be optimized? RevenueCat + Supabase sync reliable?

FREE PRO for first 20 DevLK members:

Comment with Play Store email or DM me. I’ll manually grant 1 month PRO from RevenueCat dashboard.

Play Store Link: App Link

Free = 5 scans/day. PRO = unlimited + history + no ads.

If you check the code flow and it’s decent, Play Store rating helps.

If architecture is trash, roast me in comments. I reply to all tech questions.

Happy to share learnings on Gemini API cost optimization and RevenueCat implementation.

Built an AI plant disease scanner with Gemini 2.5 + Compose. Giving 1 month FREE PRO to first 20 devs for feedback`

Hey r/nocode,

Just shipped Plant Doctor to Play Store after 2 months of grinding.

What it is:

Take a photo of any plant leaf -> Gemini 2.5 Flash AI diagnoses disease/pest/nutrient deficiency in 2 seconds -> Shows organic + chemical treatments.

Tech Stack:

Kotlin 2.0 + Jetpack Compose + MVVM + StateFlow + Supabase + RevenueCat + CameraX

Why I'm posting here:

Need brutal feedback from devs before scaling. Is the Gemini prompt engineering solid? Is the Compose architecture overcomplicated?

FREE PRO for first 20 devs:

Comment with your Play Store email OR DM me the email you used to login.

I'll manually grant 1 month PRO entitlement from RevenueCat dashboard.

Play Store Link: My App

App is free tier + PRO. Free = 5 scans/day. PRO = unlimited + full history + no ads.

If you try it and it's useful, 5 star rating on Play Store would help a ton

If code/architecture sucks, roast me in comments. I reply to all tech questions.

AMA about Gemini API integration or RevenueCat + Supabase sync.

I built a wireless file-sharing app for Mac and Android because I was tired of cables. What do you guys think?

Hey everyone! 👋

As someone who uses both a Mac and an Android phone, I always found it frustrating that there's no native "AirDrop-like" feature to seamlessly share files between them.

So, I decided to build my own app called "Air Sync".

It allows you to:

Wirelessly transfer files (even very large ones) between Mac and Android.

Share text/links instantly (like a shared clipboard).

Keep track of your transfer history.

I built this to solve my own problem, but I would love to hear your thoughts on it! What features would you like to see next? Any feedback is highly appreciated!
