Who's excited 👀

Who's excited 👀

I am a Pakistani, and maybe the only one here waiting for this movie tbh. But ain't lying, I am excited and I wish i could watch this in the cinema. I genuinely liked the trailer and I watched the story in the form of an anime movie as a kid.

Loved the trailer and really excited to see how they pull this off. Is anyone else excited besides me lol

Miss Paapri Chat of Uni

If there's one thing I have eaten the most there, It was Paapri chat lol. What is the thing you liked most there. It could also be something apart from food.

Does this even make sense?

Why do people so casually throw around words like “pedo” when two consenting adults have age gap?

A 30-year-old being attracted to a 20-year-old might make some people uncomfortable, and that's completely fair.

The important thing to remember is that a 20-year-old is an adult. Pedophilia refers to sexual attraction toward prepubescent children, not simply someone who is younger than you.

discomfort ≠ pedophilia, Period.

Note: I am neither 30 nor am i looking for marriage🙏🏻 Just saw many misusing this word. Peace out 👌🏻

Getting laid off soon and starting to panic

Jummah Mubarak everyone! ✨

As the title says, I'm getting laid off and have about 4 weeks before my job ends. I'm a backend developer with around 1 year of professional experience.

I've been applying for jobs (around 10–20 so far), but I haven't received any responses yet, which has honestly started to make me worry.

I'm looking for any advice on:

- Improving my resume (i have attached it too) or job search strategy

- Skills or projects that would make me more competitive

Interview preparation

- Anything you wish you knew when you were in a similar situation

Any advice, suggestion or help will be really appreciated. Have a wonderful day ✨

Dear Lahorians, the title says it all. Lahore seems to have it all except some good public library I guess. Can anyone kindly mention atleast one genuinely public library whose membership or access is actually accessible (ignore peak english). Any library I have found on the internet is:

- Either too far away that going there even more than once in a week is not practical

- The membership literally needs attesed papers or weird stuff and you cannot sit without membership.

- Membership been "closed" for years in reality. Open he ni ho rahi

- You can come without membership cuz membership will apparently take weird process or amount of time. But you are asked to change seats whenever a member comes.

I live near Lums in Hostel. Kindly recommend it(could be under 10km range).🫠🙏🏻 May God bless you!
