I am scared and hesitant to do things that I have done so many times in my past. Idk why.

Lately I am noticing that eversince I moved back with my parents, my confidence has somehow vanished. I am thinking 100 times before doing anything, things that i have done flawlessly before. Like traveling solo, managing people, recieving orders. For example I have ordered a phone atleast 4-5 time in last decade all through amazon or flipkart, but this time I am so skeptic like what if it turns out to be a dupe. What will I do? My parents happen to be in a phase of life where they won't technically help or do anything but will constantly criticize about it. I am confused why this might effect me now in the ripe age of 26? Like they were unhelpful and held things against me if I made a mistake before also.

Next is I am afraid to make big purchases alone. Currently, I do have to do everything alone eventually and have done them but now I am delaying on important purchases and that's causing me a lot of distress also.

Lasting about traveling. I left for college at 18 in a different state to study. I travelled plenty. But lately I feel so underconfident to go for a solo trip nearby somewhere. And I feel guilty when friends or family can't really make time or plan something with me. If I have travelled so many times before, why can't I do it alone now? Each time I decide, there is some natural calamity news or women safety issue. Like these were there before also, but then I didn't care...why now?

Lastly its very confusing to my friends and family who have seen me be extroverted and independent all my life, that I have developed a weak spot suddenly. My attempts to ask someone to accompany me has also gone to waste as most people I know are introverts or think I am just suggesting a meet up for fun or anything. Mostly they don't get my situation. I don't blame them coz I am also confused.

If anyone has gone through the same or have any advices what might help or even a pov about this, plz share with me.

I am 26F and I still don't understand the dynamics I have with my family. Exactly what's going on?

I went to two colleges, the second one predominantly in pandemic so I already feel like I have missed on major adulting. After that life has been predominantly filled with setbacks with my chosen family and friends eventually moving apart or away or with their family. And as an only child I knew there was something wrong with my parents but couldn't really put a finger on what because on outside they were perfectly fine. It only occurred to me in conversations with other people when they mention something I have never experienced so easily like don't your mom do that or your dad must take care of it? And mostly I feel the first hand shame that I have a weird dysfunctional antisocial family. Specially other girls would say things like ask your mom to help or doesn't your dad do that? Its so weird. I have been living with my parents since last two years and they literally don't talk to me all day or about anything. My work is mostly remote and I am having the most isolating and anxious times ever. I needed to get my government ID verified and my father won't literally help me. When I tried asking anyone else, their first question was what's your dad doing? Because he is a locale to the city since 15 years and I just moved back last year. My mom acts like she is greatly offended that i do anything and infront of guests she would put up like I am not doing enough. I don't understand what's going on and they would ignore any attempts to initiate a conversation. I can notice they have stopped socialising with anyone and now they are stopping me also. But my dad also wants me to have my own connections in the city. Like i should be the do it all woman but also not do anything.

They have also severed most connections with relatives so now me reaching out to any family member is weird because they see me as an extension of my nuclear family. I tried sharing my situation to my cousin sister but apparently her mother ( my maternal aunt) told her not indulge with me because my mom levied weird accusations to their family and I was away for my education.

In the end, sometimes it feels like maybe I am being a baby but I do feel helpless in all of it. I have been extremely unlucky in relationships outside family and to look back...my foundation of relationships and family was always tricky.

My atomberg renesa stopped working. I don't want to pay 1k for servicing. Should I buy colorbot stella at 2340 ? Is it worth it?

I have had bought atomberg previously which is the most popular but it stopped working out of warranty. I have used crompton also which also had problems. Now i can see Colorbot Stella at ₹2340 after card discounts etc but I saw some reviews about no reliable customer service while some even said its better than atomberg. It has a 4.2 rating. It seems like a budget buy with 4 years warranty but is it actually good or just a scam idk. 4 years warranty is of no use if post sale service is not good.

Can anyone help me with any reviews?

Solo travel anxiety about staying at a hotel alone.

I have had a rough year so far and really needed a break but my friends or anyone don't seem keen or interested in a trip. So I decided I would go solo. I have been a good planner and everything but I just realized I have never done it all solo. I always had someone or the other to keep me company. I am really anxious about women safety and been socially awkward lately like checking in a hotel alone or staying there alone. I know for people it is really simple and normal but I keep imagining what if they see through I am doing this for the first time and idk. When with people or even one other person, i become the confident one and take care of all the logostics. But alone i feel scared. Any tips how to navigate this would be appreciated.

Daughter to an overcritical emotionally unstable mom and emotionally avoidant dad. Life feels very hollow in 20s.

Eversince childhood my mom has been overcritical and had faulty judgement system. My dad would just deny or avoid anything. Being an only child in an indian nuclear family, you just accept things as they are and think maybe this is how the world is. My dad was involved and the better parent until a point and then he left his job and stopped working at all. So things changed and then became very depressing specially in my teenage years. But what remained constant was the criticism, immense pressure to be the golden child. My mom would often literally belittle me infront of my cousins for things that were not in my control. Dad won't do anything to stop her but around 11th and 12th things became very stressful. It seemed like they expected me to be self functional while doing nothing as parents. They would say something and do something totally opposite. Then blame me for my poor decision making at age 16 which they only led to. They wanted me to be a doctor and criticise everything else but wont even provide to fill forms or buy sufficient books. I thought maybe everything being tough was normal. I wasted years, time, my talent to satisfy them seeking their validation. I have done my masters now and doing an unsatisfactory job that reminds me everyday that i could done so much better. If only I was not caught up in their directive.

Now my cousin who is 10 years younger than me is going through the same process of school to college transition and even with terrible scores and not very well to do parents, her life seems smoother than my whole life. She got an average college and her parents are hopeful for her. I got 90% and my dad tells everyone that I didn't get a seat even in a single college in the city so I took a drop year apparently. Not because they told me to prepare for medical without any resources. I can't help but wonder is it that simple with everyone? I feel terrible comparing myself to a kid but even with troubles and setbacks people have made a better life for them. I just keep thinking what did I do wrong to deserve any of it.

In my college life also, I was surprised to see people don't live with sense of hollowness that they couldn't do something because their parents probably don't criticize or gaslight them. My parents deny any of my achievements and also that they forced me to appear for medical or that they didn't provide any resources in time, required for medical.

My atomberg fan is stuck and not moving, one month out of warranty.

My atomberg renesa fan was working fine till yesterday but since today morning it is not moving. It is taking in signals from remote. Switching on and off, the led display is blinking in circles and but the fan is as it stuck and not moving. I am worried because it is just one month out of warranty and never showed any signs of malfunction before. I don't want to pay 1k for repairing. Plz can someone suggest how to fix it? The regulator is bypassed and the remote is working fine.
