Airing Cupboard Spaghetti!

Could someone help me decifier the attched. My main uncertainty is around what the 3 taps below the pump are for? Which ones should be open or closed etc. or only partially open etc? I'm told one is a bypass and should only be open a 1/4 turn?? What about the others? Where are the pipes A - I coming from / going to?

IOG Problem

I’ve just joined IOG charged the car for the first time with it 100% controlled by the schedule in the app. As I expect it charged most of it during the cheap window but some was outside this but still controlled by the smart schedule. I downloaded my 30 mins usage data from the website and for some of the 30 mins usage windows the app clearly chose to charger the car with circa 3.7kwh but I’ve still been charge the 32p/kwh rate rather than 8p. I was fairly certain I understood that if the smart schedule chooses to charge the car at what ever time you got charged 8p/kwh. Am I wrong, anyone else had this issue?

Intelligent Go/Hypervolt/Mercedes CLA 250+

I’ve got Intelligent Go set up and talking to my Hypervolt Home 3 Pro but I’m a little confused as to the lack of integration with my Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake 250+ MY27🤔

The only options I have in the octopus app are ‘How much charge do you want to add?’ and ‘ready by’.

Surely I don’t have to work out what percentage of my battery power I want to add every time I plug in, being as it’s going to be different every time?

I just want to be able to give it a max level like 80% etc. and then it just add whatever is needed.

I was also expecting to be able to a a simple schedule depending what day it is and what time I need to leave in the morning in that particular day.

Am I missing something or doing something wrong or is Intelligent Go actually a bit dumb? 🤔

Edit.

So the issue is my Hypervolt is compatible but the CLA can’t talk to Octopus directly to report the soc.

That said, why on earth don’t Octopus setup their app so that when I plug in I simply tell it the current soc and what I want the soc to be. I’ve only got tell it my overall battery size once and the calculation is simple🤷‍♂️

Cable glands and small cables

If I have a cable gland that is designed for 6mm+ cable and the cable I have is circa 6mm but the gland doesn’t feel quite as snug as it should, what would be the professional way to make it snug? I’m thinking electrical tape is a shit idea but what about a few rounds of self amalgamating tape around the cable? Or can you get cable sleeves especially for this purpose?

Most heat shrink sleeves seem to be quite shinny where as amalgamating tape is quite rubbery which thinking would be better grip.

Wiring up an EcoFlow Shelly Pro 3EM Smart Meter

From an electrical standards and safety perspective is there anything wrong with we me putting a EcoFlow Shelly Pro 3EM Smart Meter in 1 way enclosure and wiring up to a 3 pin plug so i can just power it from a wall socket?

My CU only has 1 spare way in it and the only breaker in there is 40A, so I'd need 2 spare ways for an additional 6A breaker aswell (assuming I can't source a1A or 2A).

Would I need to to still twin a breaker with the Shelly in the new mini enclosure or can I just wire the Shelly directly and put a 1A fuse in the plug as the draw is tiny?

If from a standards point of view I would need to twin it with a breaker any reason why it should either be MCB, RCCB or RCBO?
