Question about rattling

Ok so I use a large pressure cooker (all american 943) and i live in a house with thin walls and sometimes the people above me move so much, the entire house rattles, like things have fallen off shelves and walls and such before

Would such rattling be enough to shake a hot and pressurized cooker on my stove to the point of it exploding?

CMV: donating blood, tissue, and organs is harmful at best

Hear me out: not only, if I donate blood, must i be extraordinarily cautious (more so than i believe i'm morally and ethically obliged to) about my sex life if i'm to be honest about it, I have no way of ensuring the donations of anything go to moral people.

There's no actual incentive to keep organ donor status (I can't even get, idk, health insurance discounts for being willing to let them harvest from me when it is more aligned with my personal beliefs that as much of my biomass as is possible be returned to the earth rather than Homo sapiens once i no longer need it) I stopped donating blood and got rid of my organ donor status when I renewed my liscence because I couldn't deal with the possibility that rapists, serial killers, human/wildlife traffickers, CSAM traders, child molesters, cult leaders, terrorists and their sympathizers, etc could possibly benefit from my sacrifice.

To me, that's an endorsement of those immoral acts, and that's just the things most humans deem immoral (i extend this sentiment to people bigotted against any and all of the lgbtq, people who needlessly kill insects/arachnids, trump supporters, people who let their cats outside, people who buy houseplants and then neglect them to death, etc).

Now, if there were ways for me to control who my tissues go to when I donate, I'd rethink. Should we bar certain demographics (assume here, for the sake of the argument, that we CAN objectively verify whether or not someone is guilty of anything listed above so there's no "well then someone could prevent someone they don't like from getting a lifesaving transplant by crying rape or molestation")

Should I talk to my sister about this??

Ok so background:

Our mother (who thankfully is dead and had an aggressive and painful cancer cancel her subscription to life) used to make all sorts of pointed comments to me as a child (as young as 6) that basically implied I was a sexual predator, first towards the other children in the neighborhood (basically saying me talking to the younger kids literally next door was a sign i was a pedophile or that knowing how insects mate and lay eggs meant I was a future sex offender) and then towards animals (i dont mind dogs licking me and my mother would say things like "you'd probably engage in bestiality") and when we were teenagers, my sister would join in

I don't really know if my sister was just joining in that for survival or if she actually believed that herself, and I kind of want closure but I also don't want to make her mad or uncomfortable since this was over a decade ago. Does anyone have advice about how I can approach this? I have really bad moral OCD that in part focuses deeply on whether or not I'm some predator or deviant (along with a fear of being inefficient, unproductive, and useless) and so I don't want to just engage in reassurance shit, but I can't help shake the idea that she has some of those lingering beliefs, even though she (and other people with dogs) fully trust me alone with dogs, i still fear being accused of that sort of heinous shit

Why does Kesha still perform songs from "Warrior"?

From what I gathered, the whole making of that album was traumatic for her and she's open about it as well as how she didn't like the overlap of die young's popularity around the time of sandy hook, but it seems like her recent setlists have even more from the album on it. It seems contradictory to me

It grinds my gears when people say "family" for something that isn't a family

We aren't part of the primate family, Primates is an ORDER, we're in family Hominidae

Butterflies aren't in 1 big family but rather 1 big superfamily

It isn't that hard to use accurate language

Slower growth?

So i always thought kingsnakes grew rapidly but my nearly 5 year old female stayed under 900g for almost 3 years and has just in the course of maybe 3 months doubled in size

Is this normal??

▲ 2 r/triops

Help for next time??

I am trying to identify what may have gone wrong the last time I reared Triops

I had previously had difficulties losing them very early on and this time I had gotten them well past 2 weeks old and roughly 2-4cm in length

I had a decent protocol, temp was roughly 24-27C and an LED day colored shoplight was overhead with an L:D cycle of roughly 14:10. Water was oxygenated with air bubbler/air stones

Day 1: add ~35 eggs to 1 gallon DI water in 6L tubs that are roughly cubic, but I put about a third of the gallon in and wait about 2 hours before adding the rest

Day 2: add substrate, about 1tbsp of coco coir/sand at a 1:1 ratio, as well as a squirt of protist water

Day 3: by this point, macroscopic young Triops (late nauplii, which may sometimes have been visible on day 2) start showing up. I add eggs of fairy shrimp, Moina, and rotifers

Day 4: top off water, then I add a few more prey eggs

Day 5: at this point, I do a water change. I turn off the bubbler, then siphon out roughly 25% of the water. Then, I use a 1:1 DI water/dechlorinated tap mix and i let it sit by the tanks for a few hours (done beforehand) and I add about 10% of what is needed to go in to the tanks every half hour or so. I will repeat this procedure every 3 days or so. I also began feeding larger foods like bloodworms and rabbit pellets

Things had been going well, and around day 15 I decided to move then to larger tanks/bins, 10 or so gallons, and this is where things went wrong

I made a substrate with 1 part turface mvp, 1 part sand, 1 part coco coir, put about 3cm into the tanks or bins, added the water (about 3 parts each DI and dechlorinated tap and then 1 part fishtank water from an established freshwater tank), and then I drained most of the water from the smaller tubs and used a drip irrigator to slowly acclimate the Triops to that water, added them, but they all died within 48 hours. I THINK it was water quality, but I'm wondering what I should do next time? Maybe use something like coral sand as a substrate? Cycle the larger tanks first? Any tips appreciated

Got cut off over a minor thing

Ok so first: im looking for input here. I understand some people may think i'm a total jackass and i'm fine with that

So i made a friend when i was in grad school. She was an undergrad and i was a master's student and she was in a lab i was running as a TA (we're only 3 years apart in age and the friendship developed AFTER she was done with my class, it's not one of those 45 year old befriends an 18 year old situations) and we became friends because of a shared interest in moths, drama/crime shows, and numerous other things

We had been friendly with each other for years (7 or 8 by now) through a lot of rough shit (i say this because i want people to know i do care about her well-being), like i'm talking she had an ex stalk her and he tried to use me to reach her and i was there for her when her cat died and i was always sharing extra living things like feeders for her lizards, lizards themselves, moths, native plants, etc. So maybe she does feel like my action (more on that in a moment) shows i dont care about her in some way, but i really don't think that's a fair assessment on her part

So our lives r hectic and this year the 2 of us had been hanging out and communicating more, and then things sorta started getting weird

I'm telling some of these details cuz the both of us r autistic so there's a chance we both, idk, missed something here, but long story short there was a little bit of tension between us about whether or not to be romantically involved. She'd tell me extensive details of her dating life failures and we both kinda liked one another slightlyish for a time but i had a lot of apprehensions because she has some immature tendencies, like whining when her parents disagree with her and keeping her lizards under suboptimal conditions (like they were a bearded dragon and 2 New Caledonian gecko species in undersized, bare habitats in a 55F room) despite my offers to assist in getting the habitats better situated. She'd also on occasion make comments about my home and such that usually were like "if we ever ended up living together *proceeds to make a comment about hating that my living space has living organisms in habitats and bins*". She also was really insistent on me being in her circle on an app called "life 360". Idk, i feel like i was getting a LOT of mixed messages

Well, here's kinda where the conflict comes. This friend started babysitting for who i think is simply a family friend. The family has a baby who is i think 15?ish months old now? Well i am not a fan of babies or kids. I don't have a HATRED for them, they just make me kinda nervous (i get overstimulated by the noise and i also have trauma from when I was a kid having my mother make pointed accusations that i was a pervert of some kind for even looking at kids younger than me, so i always have a fear that anything i do could be interpretted as creepy and so i usually avoid situations where i'm associated with small kids) and this friend certainly knew i was uncomfortable getting random instagram messages that were pictures of this baby. Idk if she wants kids (she leans towards yes last i knew but knows i'm a firm "no") but i had said that the baby looked like she was hitting an ugly phase. Like sure that was kinda mean and I can own that, but she went like no contact (but was still peeping my story and such until i removed her as a follower). I did try to apologize for it and eventually got fed up and said something to the effect of "ur emotionally immature for giving me the silent treatment when im trying to make things right, it feels like u were just looking for an excuse to cut me off"

Like, idk. If this were someone i hadnt known for this long i could kinda understand maybe reacting this way, but to me at least it seems like this is a massive overreaction to someone who u know doesnt really like kids calling a baby that isnt either of yours ugly. It wasn't like i made a threat of violence or anything like that, and the 2 of us always made very dark jokes around mortality (including that of infants)

So unless there's some weird underlying aspect to this im not seeing, im not entirely sure wat happened here 🙃

Double standards??

A "friend" stopped talking to me when i told her i struggle with self harm (i didnt go into graphic details or anything) yet she had told me plenty of her own mental health shit like feeling suicidal without certain meds and wat i have to ask is why the fuck are some people fine telling others about their own mental health but cant be bothered to hear it come from the other end? And why does it anger me to the point where i hope everyone who is like that becomes a statistic or if they want kids never can have them and if they don't want kids they get baby trapped??

1: is it a bad idea to mix stocks?

2: if i mixed orange sunkist and orange rili, would i end up with like an intergraded koi line after a while or would they end up more wild type?
