Rip to an amazing content creator and guy that I loved watching since I got back into Yu-Gi-Oh in 2022. Cancer sucks and I will remember all the times Cimo made me smile with his content and collabs.

EDIT:
Seems like everyone here is greatly saddened by Cimo's passing. Again, I truly wish the best for his family and hope that they pull through this. I've lost people to cancer as have many of you most likely, I hate it for our community and I want to say a final thank you to Cimo and all of our favorite content creators. They bring us joy and entertainment and you never know what someone is going through behind the screen. Thank you to Cimo for the laughs, the jokes and for his dedication to what he loved, as we can see, he will be dearly missed by all.

EDIT 2:
I just saw from Cimo's wife on twitter/X that his passing was leaked and not supposed to be public knowledge yet. I want to apologize to her and the family and if this needs to be taken down due to that, I understand.

Question about Self Hosting a server (would greatly appreciate any answers!)

So I've been playing Ark since 2019, have over 5K hours at this point and am seriously tired of fighting the single player spawn issues. Whether it's resources not respawning or dino spawns being broken.

I have used:

-preventhibernation

&

-ForceIgnoreSingleplayerSpawnRangeCheck

as commands but I still have issues with spawns and it's just down to bugs with single player.

So my question is, how intensive is it to run the game on a self hosted dedicated server and play it solo. I will be the only one playing, I just want to stop the spawn issues and play some overhaul mods without the game breaking.

My PC specs:

  • CPU- i7-13700k
  • GPU- AMD RX 7900 GRE 16 GB Vram
  • MOBO- Asrock Z790 Pro Wifi
  • Ram- 32 GB DDR5 Trident G-Skill 6000 MT/s
  • SSD: NVME Crucial P3 Plus 2TB

I tried to make this easy to read and I'd truly appreciate anyone that has done this before to let me know. Thanks and Happy Arking 😄

Issues with stutter, more below

Just wondering if there's a good fix for stutter. I have a pretty good PC (AMD 7900 GRE, i7-13700, 32 GB DDR5 ram and an NVME ssd that the game is on) and man the stutter is insane. I keep the game locked to 60 fps but I have tried every setting, every frame lock, even unlocked, and I changed as many graphical settings as I can. It's not what I'd call horrendous but it makes me not want to play the game. I walk around and it feels like the background freezes over and over and I'll get an actual FPS drop regardless of my resolution or graphics settings. I have no idea what else to try and it's driving me mad b/c I want to playthrough the game so badly lmao.

TLDR; If you have ANY clues how to fix stutters/FPS drops, PLEASE let me know

Hey all, I am looking for a Skyrim Modlist to do a full playthrough. I have played a ton of skyrim over the years so I know what I want. I'll make a quick bullet list of what I'm looking for below.

  • My all time favorite Skyrim Modlist and playthrough is Nordic Souls. It's fucking incredible and I adore it, I'm just looking for something different this time around since I've played through NS at least 4 times.
  • I'd like something that respects that I am going to use a controller 100% of the time and has at least a decent setup or customization for it
  • I do NOT like requiem. At all
  • I want something with decent graphics but I'm more focused on gameplay and the game feeling modern. (I do have a very good computer though so if it has LoreRim level graphics, I can run it fine)
  • Stability is very important. No constant crashes or stutters and I plan to make this a long (70+ hour at least) playthrough
  • I do enjoy power fantasy and stuff but I don't dislike a challenge
  • I prefer 1st person combat and exploration but If the 3rd person doesn't feel like a janky mess, I'd be down
  • I want something that's not just Vanilla+. I want the game to have a lot more content and to feel modern. I'm hoping for perk overhauls, more weapons and more diversity to the game. I enjoy new spells and I'm probably going to play as a mage.. maybe
  • Updated UI. I hate vanilla UI and I prefer something cleaner and newer feeling.
  • I don't plan on customizing any aspects of the list unless it's a given option.
  • Just give me your recommendations and what's good and what you enjoy about the list. (No Requiem lists please)

That's it.. I think. Thanks to anyone that read this and for any and all suggestions. I can't wait to get back to skyrim soon 😄

EDIT: I checked into what was recommended and decided to try Tomes of Talos first. It's mostly finished installing so I'll see how it goes. Thanks for the comments and to the Modlist authors
