Begode Race issues

Hi

I took a chance with the Begode Race, hoping I'd be a lucky one without issues. Sadly, haven't been the case. Opened it out, took out of transportation mode (I think?) It at least started self balancing, but just keeps leaning forward, then turns itself off. just wanted to turn it on so I could roll it to where I needed it to be. I could see and hear, it was beeping, only showing one bar blinking of battery. Put it in the charger, but then. It doesn't charge.. Damn it!!

Anyone got suggestions what I could do here? :D I know there is firmware from telegram which might help out. However it's so low battery, don't even know if it has enough battery to do firmware change, but I might try if I can't get any other help. I wrote to Begode, and waiting to hear back. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Linnpower Zephyr ride with Drone footage ❤︎ 15/08 2026

Haven't really been riding Esk8's all year, been pretty much only riding EUC's. And almost only have ridden on RKP, and a bit of TKP last year. However, I have a Linnpower Zephyr, which I thought about selling. But esk8's so much fun, still gonna keep 1 or 2 for sure. However I think I wanna find RKP setup. Bought a drone, wanted to record a small ride on my Zephyr, which now has 190km on it. Drones are freaking cool! https://youtu.be/xn-n91EkCk4

Drone + Patton S + Beautiful summer evening = <3

Didn't ride for a couple of weeks. Just got some boots and tried to put on powerknobz to see how it feels, so first ride with powerknobz on this wheel. I recently bought a DJI Neo 2 drone, this is the second time I'm using the drone. It works pretty well. It did have one crash though, but other than that, I'm pretty impressed with this technology. Funny to have a little flying machine running after you, it's like a little pet! :D Videolink if you care to see the footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03v8rrdR_EI

Have a beautiful day, and happy riding!

Patton S weird, floaty behavior on road, is it the off road tire or wrong PSI?

On my Patton S with TNT off road tire, I now have 117km on 4 trips. Last two trips, I encountered something scary. First one, where it felt like it was sliding and falling to the side, like completely lost grip, on soft dark asphalt, then when it catched itself, got grip again, it did a small one two wobble form side to side, but I got control after that. Felt scary as fuck! Especially the floating part, where it floated to the side and backward.

https://youtu.be/8f7vy-7_C0A?t=2625 You can see cam go up and backward/sideways, where it like lost grip for a second, then catched itself. Very unpleasant! 43:56 is where it happens.

Today, a bit different on my 36km ride. Also on softer smooth asphalt. Here it suddenly just dragged me super hard to one side, I couldn't even push it the other side...

My other wheels have had street or hybrid tires. Begode A5 and C8. Never experienced this on these. On my C8, I lowered PSI to 26, and everything became super stable and smooth, almost no real tram lining, or anything. So I also started with 26PSI on my Patton S.

This also doesn't feel like tram lining, since I also experienced that sometimes on this wheel, and my others, and I can manage that.

Should I try with higher PSI, is what AI suggest? Says those big blocks, then compress under load, making the off road tire not working as intended.

I'm a 70kg rider, and with full gear, add a few kg.

Just don't want those things to fucking kill me or hurt me bad. Both times were scary as hell!

I have around 1500km on my C8, never experienced these situations on that. And around 600 or 700 on A5. No big real crashes, and I'd like to stay that way! D:

Vader 4 pro button turned sticky

Hi. One of the buttons on my Vader 4 Pro controller doesn't function too well. It's like sticky. Kind of like a thing which needs lubrication, doesn't press in smoothly, which makes me sometimes screw up my button press.

Can I take it apart, and lubricate it or something? Is that possible? If yes, what lubricant should I use in the button, so it isn't sticky/kind of stuck in movement.

Thanks for any help I can get, have a wonderful day!

Okay to remove Top Cover on Patton S?

Hi

Recently got Leaperkim Patton S. The top cover hits into my knees. I'm really short, 163cm around that, and male with short legs.

Nylonove have seperate front bumper. Would it be okay to remove the normal top cover, and only have that front bumper? I'm probably gonna order this, just to try with both on to see if it helps. But completely removing the top cover should fix it, since that is where my knees hit.

If not, do anyone know if their top cover has more of an angle, and is more comfortable than stock?

Thanks for any help or info I can get, have an awesome day!

Torque wrench, which specs?

I don't know much about fixing stuff, but I need to start learning with this hobby. What kind of Torque Wrench would I need? How high Nm and how low Nm would I need? I currently have a Begode C8, Begode A5 and tomorrow a Patton S. I just got a 2.5-25Nm one, would it work? One AI said it would, another now say I need way higher Nm? D:

Thanks for any help I can get, have an awesome day!

Clonking sound and jerking motion Begode C8

I got a C8, only 300km on it. Been loving it. Last two times I was driving it, I noticed a clonking sound when I started accelerating, and at the end of breaking. And sometimes when hitting a bad stretch of road. So I thought suspension. I recently also not long before I noticed this issue changed around the knobs to get suspension as I like, could that have messed something up? No oil leak or anything he said.

He took it apart, and he say he found the culprit here, can also be seen in main video and heard, seems like tolerance is too big there: https://i.imgur.com/lHkZWnw.png

Here is me rocking back and forth to generate the clonk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apf8BA_aEnU&feature=youtu.be

Once I was going on just a dirt path, with some rocks. I heard it catching a rock, which it have done a few times, the tyre. However this time I could even feel the motor halting a bit, so something really got in there and ground up some stuff, think that one incident maybe is what knocked those metal bars sliding to have a bit of tolerance or something? There is almost no space between the fender and the tire, so things can grind in there, and it happens so fast, you can't really stop when it happens.

Can you somehow fix this issue? Get new metal bars? Or do I then just have to live with that clonking sound? :( Pretty disappointing after only 300km to have a jerk motion and clonk appear. Have not fell even once on the thing, only time it touched the ground was that bad kickstand not being stable, and it slowly fell over. No crashes whatsoever.

Thanks for any help or information I can get, hope I can get this fixed. Having that clonk and play, is probably not the best long term. I have not been riding it since I found out the issue.

Begode Extreme vs Patton S?

Begodes website good price on Begode Extreme. People say good things about it. Not a huge fan of the looks of it tbh though, but good specs for the price. Reviewers like it a lot it seems. Many people seem to do. But also a few people talking about cutouts, but might have been earlier models?

Patton S, I like everything I see, except price tag. Taking into account having to buy fairing plate and protection for battery and back light on the Extreme, price difference is still around 35 percent more still for the Patton S. And I'd be buying the Begode Extreme from their actual website, instead of the Patton S through some shady deals to get it just a bit cheaper, cause it's expensive af normally.

Any thoughts from people who own one or the other, tried both a lot, heard a lot of stuff. Can recommend me one or the other. Right now I'm still mostly leaning towards the Patton S. Mainly because apparently there is less maintenance.

There is a dial on each side. Do they do the same thing on both of the springs? on the website it's confusing, since it says this here, like there is some mid mounted system? https://imgur.com/a/NPAcjEb Bur ir looks like the dial is just on each suspension spring?

In advance, thanks for any help I can get.
