Hi,
I'm planning to upgrade my S20 base model which I used for the last 6 years and right now I'm confused between S25U and S26U. Right now, there's a sale along with bank offer which would price S26U 256GB for 1,19,999 INR ($1250.37) and the 512GB variant for 1,34,999 ($1406.67). S25U 256GB for 94,500 ($984.68) and 512GB for 1,16,000 ($1208.70)
I've seen comparison videos between S25U and S26U and I can't find much of a difference. Sure, privacy display is a cool new feature, but I could care less. I do love how the shots taken at low light on the S26U though, but that's pretty much about it.
My use is just basic, browsing reddit, YouTube, rarely gaming on phone. I do like taking good pictures and high-res videos and if one definitely has a significant edge over the other for camera, the price difference could be justified. Comparisons on YT did not help me much though.
I'd be planning to keep this for a minimum of 3-4 years. Please help me pick between the two.
I've been using base S20 since the last 6 years. I don't have any complaints so far but the battery is showing it's age and phone's performance isn't as good as it used to (probably due to the battery?).
I'm not much of a power-user either, I mostly use my phone for it's camera and other basic uses, rarely any gaming though I might do a little bit of gaming if I upgrade.
Right now there's a sale and I'm wondering if I'm going to see a significant improvement going from base s20 to base s25 or s25 ultra. Mostly it's camera when it comes to normal zoom and/or portrait and 4K@30/60 FPS video recording.
Also, with the above uses I have mentioned above, would there be much of a difference between base S25 and S25 Ultra for me? Obviously S25 Ultra is better but I very much prefer the size of base model.
Or should I just upgrade the battery and push it another year or two.
