The great philosophical thought experiment: The Rifle of Theseus
Not trying to start a giant argument, but have an actual discussion about it in regards to WA and our stupid laws.
What is the Ship of Theseus thought experiment: whether an object remains fundamentally the same if all of its components are replaced over time.
You have an AR-15, and begin to replace various parts over time; barrel, handguard, trigger, stock, and eventually the lower.
The ultimate question:
At what point does it stop being considered the same rifle, and become a new one?
When EVERYTHING is replaced?
Everything but the lower?
Everything, including the lower, but except a random roll pin?
Fuck it all, do whatever you want.
