And regardless of opinions regarding her care, (which has concerned me too, albeit I am only on the bottom rung of the learning ladder) I feel for her owner. I've not liked what I've seen, but I've got heart.

Ingratitude at its finest 😂
Many years ago, when I was running my rescue sanctuary, I was asked to take in 19 budgies, unwanted by their breeder. All the budgies were poorly, all were riddled with mites. When it came to the mite treatment, my vet rightfully advised me that applying the treatment to the back of the necks was far better than drops in the water. I fully agreed. Also, it really was a long, hard job because the breeder sent his ENTIRE flock of 51 poorly budgies! I cleared my spare bedroom and created a large flight room for them.
The attached picture is no exaggeration of their displeasure at being treated for their unwanted parasites though 😂
Oh well, if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing properly! 😀🥰😍💜

CECIL MOULTED!
This was the most nerve wracking, heart wrenching moult I have ever watched her go through 😞 It took far longer than any of her previous moults, hours, and for a long while, all movement or signs of activity completely stopped, and I was just silently screaming in my head and my heart.
She made it though, she made it!
Please send out thanks to your God, to the universe, to whatever powers you believe in, because Cecil the crab made it!!! 💜

New member here, with a 16 day old finch 😀 I'm still finding my way around the app 😂
My finch is called Noodles. She doesn't have much yet in the way of clothing and furniture, but I'm working on it. She did have one friend, but that friend doesn't want to do this any more. So for now, it's just me and Noodles plodding along 🥰

ZTE V80 Max opinions please
Hi, my Huawei mate 20X is struggling now (mainly the battery) so I'm looking to get another phone. I'm in my 60s, not into gaming or anything like that, but I do like a decent camera, good clear display, and a large screen is an absolute must. I have Huntington's disease, and have difficulty controlling my hands/fingers due to the chorea movements, hence why large screen is so important to me.
My budget I'm afraid is rather low, £200 max.
I'm not very knowledgeable about specs etc, so this is why I'm hoping for guidance. The phone I'm asking about is £155, and running on android 13. Below is the information the seller gave me when I messaged to ask about the android system.

Cecil has grown so much!
In just over 2 years, the growth rate of of cecil my cardisoma armatum, is quite incredible.
I knew she had grown rather a lot, but until I compared images of her with the very same feeding dish, I had not realised how quite how much she has grown!
And yes, I did initially think Cecil was a male, but decided to keep her name anyway, regardless of it becoming clear that Cecil is in fact, a little girl 😀 Anyway, she likes her name 😜

Hello everyone, I'm looking to replace my tired old android set top box, and would be grateful for your guidance please. So basic background.. I'm an oldie (Not quite as old as God's dog, but approaching 64 very speedily!)
I'm 'acceptably' tech savvy, but can struggle sometimes. I only want a fairly basic, budget priced box (£50 absolute max) that I can sideload apps on to of my own choice.
The thing that I'm most puzzled over is which android version is best on these nawty boxes as I like to call them. I've read that android 13 is the best, then another source says android 14, another states 16... It makes my eyes spin all this confusion!
So I'm turning to you lovely people!
