I’ve thought about what the plot could be for Blake and Yutani and the lone Xeno survivor. We can’t get an alien queen so easily, and we are supposedly playing as a corpo insider who is less likely to be betrayed like Burke in Aliens.
So I think the Working Joes should stay loyal and Yutani stays loyal, but when the Space Marines arrive, they start killing everyone. The Space Marines are under the employ of Weyland and they have a spy who reports Blake’s situation and instead of helping Blake, they try to steal the Xeno and obtain the technology for themselves.
The ending would be both Blake and the Xeno tied up and shipped off world…
That’s how it goes sometimes..
Starship Troopers (1997) Carmen or Dizzy?
Get your puts ready..
So there’s just one xenomorph in the ejected science lab at the beginning of Alien Isolation 2. So there’s no chance for a hive or infestation or a queen. The big plot twist of Alien Isolation 1 was the reveal that there were MANY aliens. Another plot twist was the working Joes going evil.
So… what will be the plot twist in alien isolation 2? Playing as a Yutani character named Blake, I don’t think the company will turn against you and send the working Joe’s after you or send colonial Marines after you. Because you are part of the company itself. Burke was the bad guy in Aliens, the corporate guy who turns against Ripley. But in this video game, you are the Burke.
I think this game might be more like Alien 3, with a single lone alien, taking everyone out on an isolated colony.
Anyway, does anyone have any predictions for the big plot twist? I don’t know what they’re gonna do and I’ve been thinking about it a lot.
