am I the only one noticing an obnoxious amount of police at least here at Amman today

I know the day is just starting but on my way to school I noticed an ungodly amount of police, like there was at least 5 911 cruisers and even traffic police were filling the street, I even saw a traffic police ford explorer which is the first time I see such a thing in my 6 years in Jordan, I also saw a couple of officers with a super weird uniform that's brown-ish with a lot of badges, I can tell they're not military tho, so is anyone else noticing this or am I just delusional and extra paranoid??

its worth noting that everything I noticed was in a 20 min drive (10 mins going to the school and 10 mins going back home)

why do my mints have this??

I did my due diligence and the most reasonable thing is spider mites but I just wanted to be 100% sure, also just in case I tried washing it with water and it didn't go (I did that to make sure it's not dirt or smth like that), you cant feel its just color almost as if its embedded in the leafes

it gets sun light as long as there is sun

its worth noting that the mints are ground-planted, I don't use any pesticides

some user suggested its aphids but they infamously make leaves sticky and this is not the case here, you cant feel the stippling its almost as if its imbedded into the leaf, also aphids make leaves curl and this isn't the case

thanks for your time

brand-new species of "wishbone" spider in the forests of Thailand, a specific specimen (the in the picture) is a half-male and half-female

This rare biological phenomenon is known as bilateral gynandromorphism, and this is the first recorded instance of gynandromorphism in the Bemmeridae family of burrowing spiders

fun fact : Researchers from Chulalongkorn University named the new species Damarchus inazuma. The name is inspired by an anime character who has the ability to switch between male and female forms

Scientists believe this condition occurs at the very earliest stages of embryo development. When the initial cells are dividing, a chromosomal mishap can cause one half of the dividing cells to carry male chromosomes and the other to carry female chromosomes, resulting in a perfectly split creature

here is the full report for anyone interested
