How to join corrugated polycarbonate roof panels on a different slope

I'm building a catio, and while most of the roof will be straight & sloping downward from the house - making it easy to cover with this corrugated polycarbonate roofing - the two sides are angled at 45 degrees (so that roofing section will look like a triangle).

Basically, imagine roofing a bay window.

How could I join the flat top part of the roof with the angled sides?

I'm very new to DIY but I do have a friend who is more experienced helping me :) Thanks in advance!

TD Aeroplan visa "household income"

I have the regular Aeroplan visa. My income isn't quite enough to get the Privilege. However, my household does make enough to qualify for the Privilege. We are not technically family though, but very much a financially enmeshed household.

My question: when upgrading my card, what information will I be asked to submit to prove my "household income"?

What's with the yogurt setting?

Trying the instantpot for yogurt for the first time.

Started by setting it to yogurt & boil. Then after it cooled sufficiently, I selected yogurt & normal, 8 hours.

Well I came back less than an hour later and it said 00:39. Confused, I reset the thing (back to yogurt at normal, this time at 7:00) and again less than an hour later the timer is showing something weird: 00:37.

Can someone please explain?

How do I navigate this?

I met a guy, he's great. He's the sort of person I've been hoping to find and build a lifelong relationship with. It's very new, we've only met once, but we've talked a lot over the past month.

I am hoping that attraction develops for me. Based on my past experience, it could take a couple of months of regularly hanging out, but once there was this anomaly where insane attraction developed on the second date so I don't even know how to predict...

Anyway, he seems super in to me. I've told him I'm demi and explained it; I think he gets it at a basic level.

But his enthusiasm is making me uncomfortable, like there are expectations, like he is developing big feelings and I'm soooo far behind and just trying to figure out if there could be attraction.

I somehow need to find a way to ask him to slow down and give me space to feel things out for myself. To not ask if we can hold hands, to not ask if I want a kiss - rather let me approach if and when I'm ready. And I really don't want to hurt his feelings or mess this up.

Any advice?

First time pressure canning

I pressure canned some bone broth last September according to official guidelines, I was very careful about that. But when I pulled the jars out of the canner I could see evidence that a tiny bit of broth had leaked from the lid during the pressure canning process. The lids were and are properly sealed though (without need for the ring). Do you think my broth is okay to use?

I connected with a wonderful guy on a dating app. We had our first date and really hit it off. Life goals, direction, values, niche interests, everything so far matches really well and our phone conversations are awesome!

There's just one thing that I'm torn about... He doesn't seem to put any effort into physical appearance... Baggy athletic clothes, unkempt beard, didn't even brush his hair for our first date (it looked matted and kinda greasy). It impacted my attraction in person. The pictures on his profile were hard to get a read on, so it was a surprise, though he DID tell me that he has no interest in shopping and just tends to order athletic clothing from one store, so I'm guessing style and maybe grooming aren't very important to him?

Normally I'd say something about not feeling the chemistry, but in all other respects this seems like we could be a great fit as partners and I'd like to give it a shot.

Is there any way to sensitively navigate this to see if he's open to dressing nicely and paying attention to personal grooming? Like, I'd totally be down to go shopping!

Thanks guys.

I've hoarded some points (approx. 140k) and am looking at booking a flight from YVR to MEL next March (return).

I'd love to include a stopover of at least a few days or up to a week if that's possible. Flexible on location but anywhere in Asia would be nice.

I've never redeemed points before. Do you have any tips for me? Thanks in advance!
