Random fact of the day... My uncle is one of the team dentists.

I live in west central Ohio. My first game i ever watched was game 1 of the 95 finals (rip). I was celebrating red wing cups before the jackets were even alive.

I have family in Birmingham, they live maybe a mile from where vladdys accident happened. My Uncle has been a dentist there for decades.

I was up at Crystal lake last week with him visiting and he drops the bomb that he is one of the teams dentists. He started last season. He and 2 partners split the home games and they're there on stand by just in case.

Guess who's invited to be one of his guests and sit in the same box as player families for a few games this season?

This guy... im so stoked.

Thanks for reading my random fact of the day.

Eli5 Joe's restructure

Dumb questions incoming.

What exactly was restructured? It felt like a shuffling of deck chairs.

Dumbest question: does Joe have to agree or can the Bengals just declare a restructure

Dumplings are cheap garbage

My kids got the Dumpling fever. 2 of them so far have busted opening... spilling their glitter insides out and making a mess.

Fair warning dads... theyre cheap garbage selling for at the lowest ive seen 10 bucks a pop.

Tomatos leaves curling?

USDA Zone 6B. West central Ohio.

Determinate beefsteak and rutgers tomatoes. They're at my FILs place so I only see them once a week.

I seeded them all and transplanted myself. About 40 plants total and most have this leaf curling going on. Ive never seen this before so idk what it is?

There's a grape arbor about 20 feet away and there's some curling in the grape leaves too?

Next row over are onions, then potatoes... theh look perfectly fine.

Next rows over on the other side are cucumbers and peppers... they both look fine?

And ideas?

Realism invictus: cities revolting to barbarian.

Im in my second serious playthrough. I keep having to retake cities that I have, they revolt to barbarian for whatever reason. I retake the city, maintain a large garrison (>15 units) . Then within 50-60 turns the city starts rioting. The city then revolts and turns barbarian.

Whats the deal? Ive been keeping a large garrison in each city. Im trying to build building that expand culture but in RI, it takes longer to build buildings.

For example, ive had to retake the dame city 4 times in my save. A city I founded and never lost in war.
