Help Custom Trimming Image Inside Element Dimensions

I'm trying to custom trim an image so that it fits within a graphic element's dimensions. Here, the headshot of the person has already been cropped on the bottom and sides. As you can see, the square edges need to fit the rounded edges of the element that is acting as a frame (NOT a Canava 'frame', but an element).

Every time I click 'erase', the only options I'm given is to erase the headshot image in full, and without the rounded frame around it, so it's impossible for me to trim the image exactly right.

None of the apps that I've tried can do what I'm needing. Any suggestions or help would be so appreciated! I wish Canva just had an eraser function that I could use to custom trim an image or element directly on the project.

Who are you favorite indie composers?

Interested in the composers that are grabbing people’s attention right now! I always feel like we hear about up and coming directors and actors, but not so much composers.

Film festivals, folks on their 2nd or 3 feature, or just the names of composers whose work has excited you who haven’t broken through to the big leagues yet.

Target Upscaling Possible with Topaz?

Hi! I'm very new to all things AI upscaling, so please be gentle with me!

I'm about to direct a found footage feature and we are planning to shoot partially on vintage 1980s camcorders. We've rigged them to record digital files directly via a computer. We really love the quality of the image we get except for one thing....the extra noise and distortion/pixelation that happens on the actor's eyes and mouth when they're talking/blinking.

We are wondering if a software like Topaz can be used to target these kinds of specific distortions or if the software will treat the entire frame with the same upscaling. I have tried searching this but I can't seem to get a clear answer online.

Please help!

How do you film a timelapse?

I'm directing a proof of concept next week. It's found footage (important detail for this question).

In the script, there is a 10 minute timelapse where a character sits alone in a room. We have 'surveillance' cameras that will capture the timelapse.

This might be a dumb question, but I've never directed a timelapse before!

Do we need to film my actor sitting there for 10 full minutes in order to make the time lapse to look convincing/correct? Can we get away with having her sit there for only 5 minutes? Time is money, people!

My husband and I are coming to CDMX next week and it's looking like the weather is not going to be great....but I'm wondering how much we can trust this. I'm from Vancouver, where our weather changes quickly and you can't always trust what the Weather Network is saying.

Should we plan on a lot of rain, or do those who know CDMX feel like some of this could blow over/just be isolated. I also know the city is HUGE, so this is accounting for a large piece of land...

My husband and I are coming to CDMX for the first time in a week!

We want to visit Coyoaçan one day and we’re wondering what our options are other than Uber.

Can we bike there easily? We’re not going to use public transit much, but wondering if public transit would be okay for this one trip?

Trying to avoid the 30 min Uber trip….

I notice that after taking Vyvanse for 3-4 days consistently, my short term memory and word recall goes out the window. I’m on 10MG and often don’t even take the full dose, which I understand is a VERY low dose, however the side effects (such as the memory loss and anxiety) intensify the more I up my dose.

Anyone else experience this? Was there anything you did that helped, ie. Diet? Could this be hormone related? I also notice my periods are very heavy with bad cramping when I’m taking the Vyvanse consistently.

For clarity: I usually take weekends off and right now am just taking .5MG at 7AM.
