i was swimming with my dog in the lake, while my family was having a picnic a little bit away. while swimming these two females started screaming slurs at me (you look like a fking n slur, are you an n slur, you n slur) from across the lake.. just over and over so ignored them and they started going f you repeatedly. they got bothered i ignored them or maybe assumed i couldn’t hear and started to swim over and realized my dog was swimming with me and stopped yelling at me and started yelling at my dog... maybe they wanted to be attacked i don’t know. i really don’t know what to do in that situation. i feel ignoring them was the best move though, since i guess free speech?

i don’t get how you guys know what beliefs you have that are considered odd. i see many posts on here about delusions or odd thinking but how do you know its not normal..? and if someone told you it isnt normal how do you believe them?
