Advice for functional trainer

Hey guys. I unfortunately have to have all my flooring replaced because the installer said it was defective. I’m thankful to get it done right. Anyways, I’m trying to avoid taking this thing apart. I only need to move it far enough to replace the flooring. I might even relocate it to avoid moving it twice. I was thinking I would pack between the rods with a moving blanket and then wrap around them. Maybe remove the middle bar and move it in two pieces. I was looking at this pry bar tool to lift it up a bit but I’m wondering the best thing to slide under it for best scenario of a smooth move over. I’ll probably be tackling this with myself and friend. We are strong women but of course have limitations. The weight stacks are 165lb on each side. TIA.

What would you do?

I have a pretty small kitchen and am slowly fixing it up and trying to plan out my next steps. I am trying to figure out how much a should budget. So far, I have replaced the flooring, fridge, removed the over the sink cabinet and painted. What should I do next? Would you paint the cabinets? What type of countertops would go with the cabinets if I leave them brown? This is not my forever home but plan on being here for the next 3-5-7 years. So I don’t want to over spend.

Orthodontist/TMJ

I may be dealing with a TMJ diagnosis and am looking for local resources. I know this can be a battle to get treated with dental and medical, but I have Blue Shield and MetLife. I guess the first step for me is to find a good orthodontist. Plus if there’s also a great dentist at the same practice. Open to any advice because this is causing a lot of discomfort to my ears and jaw. TIA

Travel destination recs

I’m brainstorming ideas for a travel destination to meet up with my family. We are coming from CA, TX and TN. We would like to try and keep the travel equal distance for everyone. We would like a city that has a little bit for everyone. Ages are 30-65. In the past, we have done Vegas, but I want to switch it up. Trying to avoid doing a cruise. We are still deciding on time of year but we travel to meet up frequently so open to all suggestions. Thanks!

Finally got started on the home gym

I was on the fence for a while but finally pulled the trigger. I have to say that for me, this fits my needs perfectly. I debated a cage set up but I’ve always worked out heavily with cables and dumbbells. Also love that I can do assisted pull ups on this machine. I’m still playing around with it and figuring out some good leg workouts. Overall, I’m happy with the Center 2 for now and may add a smith machine later.

Centr 2 Functional Trainer

This machine is on sale at Costco for $1,099. I would never max out on the weight it comes with as a small female. The only thing I am sad not to have on this is a smith machine, but I question if I really need that to begin with. I mostly use cable machines at the gym aside from some dumbbell exercises and the assisted pull up/dip machine. I am not strong enough to do them without assist. I feel like this is a decent deal. After I buy a dumbbell set, I should be good to go. Thoughts?

Rack for light lifter

I’m having trouble deciding on a set up. I am a woman and don’t see myself lifting crazy. I just want to stay in good shape and get some mediocre gains. I’m 35 and 115 pounds and 5’6. So Idk how much I should be concerned with stability. Anyways. I was debating between a REP PR-1100 rack with a pulley system from REP or Revolt. OR I saw the eonfit E2 and was considering that. I use mostly cable machines in the gym now, but will try to get into squats at home since I can’t skip leg day. Really only looking to do lat pull downs, rows, tricep pull downs, and squats. I am on a budget but at the same time, I do value quality for the price. So trying to find a good middle ground between budget and quality but maybe I am overthinking this. Any advice is really appreciated!

I’m at a crossroads with how much time I have left to have a child. I am in a newer year long relationship and I can’t get the desire and thought out of my head. But I don’t know if I am meant to be a mother. Or if I would be a good one. It would take effort on my part to make this happen, as I am in a same sex relationship. Anyways, any insight in this is much appreciated.
