I got really excited when I saw this sitting on the shelf at Goodwill today with a $2.99 tag on it, then I died a little inside when I opened it up

I didn't get just the standard 2 points this week. I'm only 70 away from Gold status so maybe I'll start getting higher weekly points once I hit gold.

Residen Evil: The Final Chapter on bluray that I requested from swapadvd came in last night, completing my Resident Evil bluray collection. I know there is another movie that came out about 5 years ago but that is a reboot so I wasn't trying for that 1. I also know that there are some animated movies too but I don't believe those are part of this series. If I'm wrong on that let me lnow.

I've only ever seen the 1st 3 movies in the series and wanted to wait until I got them all before I watched any more.

The 1st 2 I saw in the theater, 3rd I think I either rented or saw on cable, I'm not really sure on that and don't really remember that movie all too much.

I have been getting free earbuds from a company on Amazon in return for posting reviews of them but the most recent pair is showing its age. they aren't charging very well and the battery in the case drains too quickly, but that company seems to have disappeared so I can't get anymore free earbuds.

Has anybody tried these Aldi earbuds? I really just need something for listening to music while I'm out running errands so they don't need to be professional quality or anything but I also don't want something that sounds like crap

Top row are my latest arrivals from swapadvd, bottom row are Goodwill pick ups. Goodwill discs were half price, I already have Silverado but only a single disc set so this was a cheap edition upgrade. It also comes with a deck of Silverado playing cards. I could have sworn the deck was sealed but I just pulled it out and it's not. Luckily all the cards are there and it looks like it's never been used. Another Goodwill location in the same network had like 3 sealed copies of this same set a few years ago but they wanted $9 each for them which I literally LOL'd at as I put it back on the shelf.

Ghost Dog I've never actually seen. I remember seeing trailers for it when I watched other movies in the theater and when renting but I'd never seen it so it's a blind buy for me.

The swapa DVDs were both blind buys. I just recently completedy Resident Evil DVD collection and of course as soon as I did I started finding bluray copies at the thrift store. Over the past year or so I've found all but the first and last movies on Blu-ray so I ended up ordering both of those on swapadvd to complete the collection. 1st 1 arrived today, Final Chapter has shipped but hasn't arrived yet. Hopefully I get that 1 soon.

I recently started using swapadvd. Ordered 3 titles from a user and they messaged me saying they were offering order 3 get 1 free so I picked a freebie for the 3 I ordered. The next day I saw a new DVD posted that I wanted and it ended up being from the same user so I did the order 3 get 1 free offer again. All 8 arrived today

Been buying the Cheddar Cheese flavor of these for about a year now. I had been buying the Stop & Shop version before that but they were always terrible. The Aldi version were exactly like the original name brand version, up until recently. The past few times I went looking for them, the shelf was empty then they finally get them back in stock but now they are made the same as the Stop & Shop version. I had bought 2 bags of them, I ended up finishing the 1st bag but I brought the 2nd bag back for a refund.

I just looked thru my point history,, the last time I got double digits was August 2025 and then it was only 13 points.

I guess I have another year of single digit points ahead of me.

I'm not a HUGE Pink Floyd fan but I do like their music. I just found this at Goodwill for cheap so I grabbed it. It's a CD/Blu-ray combo pack.

I looked it up on Discord and it appears to be complete with everything that comes with it.

Can't wait to listen to it.

I stopped at another Goodwill while I was out running errands earlier today, after my last post. I think these 3 That 70s Show sets finally complete my collection for that show. One Crazy Summer was a movie I watched countless times as a kid, every time it was on WPIX Channel 11 on Saturday afternoon. The other is a blind buy, I have seen the original but never this 1.

Just grabbed these from Goodwill. The Venom trilogy is 3 separate discs which I always like to see in multi-movie sets like this, and it included a digital code insert with 3 working codes so now I have them all in my digital library too.

I grabbed these TV season sets today. My local Goodwill seems to be relaxing on their multi-disc set price hikes. Last week these would have been $8-$10 per season, but they dropped the prices back down to $2.99 each.

I have Married With Children season 1 so now I have a bit of a gap between seasons I own but you take what you can get when you thrift.

The Cobra Kai season is my 1st on physical so again I take what I can get.

The mistake is NewsRadio. I already own the season 1&2 set but when I was inspecting the discs for scratches there was an extra disc in 1 of the cases and it's season 3 disc 1 so I must have seen that and got it In my head that this was a season 3 set. Oh well. The set I own already is the Mill Creek version though. This 1 is the Sony release. Not sure if it matters which 1 I keep.

And, speaking of the Mill Creek release of the s1&2 set, if you own that check the last disc to make sure the final episode is there. My copy was missing the final episode. I bought it at Goodwill a few years ago so I took a chance and contacted their support. They asked me for a picture of the disc that was missing the episode and after I sent it to them they mailed out a replacement disc that has the missing episode, and as an apology for the messed up disc they even let me pick out another release free of charge. I chose the 80s Dungeons & Dragons animated series set. They have the absolute best customer service of any company I have ever had to deal with.

Picked these up today. $5 each, and neither was the half price color unfortunately. The Apocalypse Now is a 3 disc set. 1st disc has original and redux versions of the film. 2nd disc says Hearts of Darkness, not sure what that is. 3rd is special features. I grew up in the 80s but I never got around to watching this movie, I think it's time to fix that.

The 007 movie I grabbed cause I recently finished thrifting all the 007 movies on DVD and have started grabbing blurays as I find them now. I think ilthis is maybe the 5th or 6th blu I've found.

I'm using the Imgur app as an example but this happens in every app. When I take a screenshot and tap the 'capture more' button it cuts off the top of the screen. How do I get it to stop doing that? In the imgur example I want to include the title of the post in my screenshot but once I tap the 'capture more' button I can't get it to include that part of the screen.

My local Goodwills have all upped their physical media prices. TV series sets are now like $8 and up but these 2 sets slipped thru at the single disc movie price of $3 so I grabbed them up quick. Both are series I'm trying to complete. I have the 1st 3 seasons of each and now these.

I found the Hitman's Bodyguard a few years ago so I jumped on the sequel when I found that too.
