The Dragonzord Kickstarter has officially ended.

Well, it looks like we're finally getting a Reignition Dragonzord after all. I don't know about any of you but I am definitely excited to see what the final product looks like. I was hesitant to back this Kickstarter at first, but I've never had a dragonzord or a megazord before, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get both. To anybody who chose not to back it, that is your call, but I don't want to hear any complaining when you finally do want one and you have to pay five times the price on eBay.

Who did it better: Pop Go The Wiggles Addition

It has officially been determined that Australia did a better job with the cover art for Getting Strong. Now it's time to take a look at the first attempt at covering nursery rhymes from the group with Pop Go The Wiggles. I've never really been a fan of the nursery rhymes except for a couple of them, so I'm not too familiar with the video itself. Actually, I think we're at a point where we can't really call them videos anymore. Let me know in the comments if it's still okay to call them videos even though we're at the point where everything was exclusively DVD because the VHS was phased out.

Who did it better: Getting Strong Addition

I'm back. I know it's been over a month since I've done one of these, but I wanted to give it some time before I started a new era. I also recently started a new job, so that's been taking up a lot of my time. That being said, we are now entering the Sam era of cover art. We will be starting with getting strong, which The Wiggles have described as returning to their roots in early childhood education. Yes, I know that's how they were describing Wiggle and Learn, but this video is basically a compilation of that show. This one is going to get a little tricky because they might be less generic, but a lot of them will also look pretty similar to each other.

Thoughts on CinderElmo

I recently watched this video for the first time and I have to say it holds up surprisingly well. It features a boy character in a traditionally female role (Elmo playing a loose interpretation of Cinderella), gender-neutral terminology (Frank's title as a Fairy Godperson), and Grover saying "Sire, kids today dye their hair the craziest colors." Not to mention, this special came out in 1999. I know this next part goes without saying, but Sesame Street was progressive and inclusive before it was cool.

Avatar: The last Airbender and The Big Bang Theory

I did a similar post once with Hazbin Hotel, and I got a pretty good response that really fit with the characters. What do you think the guys would think of Avatar: The last Airbender? Would they be fans, would they hate it, or would the girls end up being the ones who like it? What are your thoughts on this? Personally, I think Raj would definitely be attracted to the show for all of the emotional moments and Howard would be attracted to Avatar Kiyoshi, and make a bunch of blind jokes about Toph.

Welcome to the Wiggle House - Red Nose and the Wiggles are ready to Red.Set.Go (They actually used Henry for something)

Since Henry is one of my favorite characters, I like that he's finally getting some recognition because he's barely been getting anything in recent years. That being said, I wish The Wiggles themselves would use him more.

Poorly describe a show and see if others can guess what it is, I'll go first.

A domesticated Bear runs an unlicensed daycare for small animals while commenting on how good you smell.

A family of mammals teach you more about phonetics than you've ever learned in school.

Two hot wildlife experts and a puppet play with wild animals, but tell you to stay away from them.

Three guys and their dog teach you more about critical thinking than any college course.

Four brightly colored men sing about animals and food temperature.

Two Australian shut-ins experience the world for the first time.

More Polls

After posting the final poll, two things were brought to my attention. The first thing is that Australia has the better cover art for The Wiggles movie VHS release (even though people like the movie poster better than the VHS releases). The other thing was that Australia just has the better cover art in general. I wanted to take the time to ask if anybody would be interested in me doing this again for the Sam era. There is a poll below that will allow you to let me know if this is something you'd like me to do. I also wanted to put here that I will not be doing this for the Emma era for the current era.

I could use some help

I started this subreddit a couple months ago because I wanted to post something and I didn't know where to post it. I was under the impression that it would immediately take off overnight, but I was wrong. If there is anyone out there who wants to help me turn this subreddit into something at least halfway decent, I'm open to any suggestions or any help that anyone would like to offer.

Who did it better: Magical Adventure/Movie Edition

It has been made official that Australia had better cover art for celebration, but it's too bad they couldn't put some of that effort into the video. Some of you I've been waiting for this one eagerly and now I'm happy to present the final video for the OG era cover art polls. We're going to be looking at The Wiggles Movie, which was retitled as Magical Adventure in the US for whatever reason.

30th anniversary

Is it me, or does anyone else feel like we're getting nothing for the 30th anniversary? It's almost as if people just forgot this show existed. My first clue (see what I did there) was when they canceled the show last year right in the middle of filming the fifth season. The one thing I wish they would do is release high quality versions of all three notebooks. If we got that and nothing else, I would be more than a happy camper. These are just my thoughts and I have others, but I don't think I should share them here. Does anyone else have any thoughts or anything you would like to add on this topic?

Who did it better: Celebration Edition

Well, you all made it clear that the Australian cover for surfer Jeff was the superior one, so now we're going to look at the cover arts for celebration. I recently watched this for the first time, but I'm going to save my thoughts on this for something else (spoiler alert, I didn't like it). The next post will be the final one for the OG era, and for that reason, I have decided to make it a rather special one. I'm still open for taking guesses on what it might be.

Who did it better: Surfer Jeff Edition

According to all of you, the Australian cover art for Lights, Camera, Action (Wiggles!, depending on where you live) reigns supreme, not that the bar was that high. We will now be taking a look at the cover art for the final special to feature the OG lineup, and the only other video to be named after one of The Wiggles (I'm not counting TV show compilations of the new lineup). This has got to be a really fun series and it's hard to believe we're getting close to the end of the OG era. The last post in this series for the OG era is going to be a really special one and I'm wondering if anybody can guess what it might be.

I'm getting closer to completing the collection.

I bought this for myself a couple days ago and I've got a couple more coming soon to complete the collection. 2 down, 3 to go.
