Simple daily setup with my Bialetti moka pot and glass V60 dripper. Moka for rich brews, V60 for clean pour-over. Loving it.

I’m looking for a budget coffee machine for home.
I’m not sure what’s the better option here.
Should I get the breville barista express for $588
Or for a little more money and bench space I can get the breville bambino and the smart grinder for $700
The prices are in Australian dollars and I’ll
Be using it to make flat whites at home for just myself
Recently upgraded from Chemex and Baratza Encore to Fellow Opus 2 and Stagg XF pourover plus Oxo ORB. For the first time at home I was tasting fruit notes in coffee. That made me wonder what I was missing from my Philips 4300 superautomatic and to see what was possible with an endgame grinder. So here’s my updated coffee and tea station.
Left to right: Wolf kettle, Fellow Opus 2 grinder, various brewing vessels and whatnots, some of the few teas I have, Mazzer Philos grinder, Quick Mill Pop Up espresso machine, and Oxo gooseneck kettle.
I got divorced a month ago and… here it is
Hey guy's, I've been working in a coffee shop almost entire life, making coffee starting at the age of 12. Now I've quite my job as a barista and have moved onto a new career. That part doesn't matter, the part that dose is now I want to buy my own at home coffee set up and I don't really know where to start. I've tried the breville oracle double boiler that my parents have an its a bit to automatic for me. I've pretty much always worked on Sanremos and la marzocco and really enjoyed them. Maybe a sanremo absalute might be nice. I want something with the larger commercial sized basket. Adjustable out and temp like on a commercial machine but just at home. Can anyone help with suggestions that would be great.
I’ve finally accepted that my old blade grinder is probably the reason my coffee is so inconsistent, so I’m looking to upgrade.
I mostly brew pour-over and French press, but I’m thinking about getting an espresso machine in the future, so I’d rather buy something that I won’t outgrow right away. The problem is there are so many grinders at completely different price points that I have no idea where the sweet spot is.
I keep hearing that a good grinder matters more than the coffee maker itself, so I’m willing to spend a bit more if it actually makes a noticeable difference in the cup. I’m more interested in consistency, durability, and ease of use than having a bunch of extra features.
For those of you who make coffee at home every day, what grinder would you buy again? Is it worth stretching the budget for a higher-end model, or are the mid-range options good enough for most people?
I love waking up to this every morning.

Espresso machine: Profitec Move
Grinders: Fiorenzato Allground Sense and Mokkom 64
Kettle: Cosori
Pour Over: Hario V60
Filter Drip: Breville Grind Control
I hope I have finally managed to reach endgame before my wife murders me.
I was only got a Breville Barista Express last year and now here we are.
My everyday grinder is now the Fiorenzato. But I decided to keep the Mokkom 64 on the station for single dosing decaf and occasional specialty.
I am fighting the temptation that I would like a higher quality single doser. But I might just put SSP burrs.

Hello,
Where are you putting your Linea Mini? I know it’s quite heavy, and the dimensions are fairly large.
Do you have a cabinet, table, or nook that you recommend? One that comfortably fits the machine, grinder, and accessories. I won’t be keeping mine on the kitchen counter due to limited space, so I’m looking for other ideas.
Thank you!
Hi guys,
Anyone familiar with this coffee machine? I’m looking for this capsule machine. I already contacted Sjorstrand but they said it is not available on the market. Is there someone who can tell more about this machine?
Thanks in advance

I'm a repeat poster but this is likely the final evolution. My Gaggia previously sat on top of the knock box, meaning I had to move the tamp station to dump my puck and that was just annoying. I'm obsessed with keeping a tight footprint, so this took a bit of thinking to keep it from encroaching on counter space. I've lost a little bit of usable space on the kitchen mat, but worth it in my opinion.
- Gaggia Classic w/ Gaggimate, 3D printed drip tray that fits a BOOKOO Themis mini, 3D printed steam wand lever, and portafilter hook
- Mazzer Mini w/ ARO slow feeder
Pourover setup sits on the mat and consists of a Fellow Stagg, Hario Switch, MHW-3BOMBER mini cube 3.0 scale, and Comandante C40.
Please don't bash me, I don't have a ton of money right now but I can't justify $8 a day in coffe every day. I want a good machine that i can make decent iced lattes at home. Are there any with the grinders on top that are good or should you get a grinder separate? I was looking at the Casabrews ultra or breville bambino. I saw some for a little more that had grinders attached but not sure how good they work.
