Dumb Question? Why do people grade a non 1st or 2nd print? For example why would someone get this upcoming issue graded ?

As a newbie in the comic book collecting. Why would someone get a CGC grade on a non 1st issue and not just get it in a comic capsule? This is coming from a non judgmental way, just curious the train of thought

Is it normal that issue #23 has about 10 different covers coming out ?

I just got started into collecting covers for the art, not for flipping or investing. I’m reading the absolute series through the hardcovers on Amazon. I get a notification every day with a new cover of issue #23

Anyone else reading the series through the Volumes on Amazon? I’m feeling left out with the pace of how slow these get shipped and more issues drop online. How do you all read them?

Volume 3 drops in September and only has issue #15-18.

Did I make the right call ? I couldn’t make my mind up and went with the 6th printing mora variant cover. It was $20 cheaper. Which one would you have chosen ? 2nd printing or signed variant ?

I started late into comic books and have been binging on all Batman comics. I absolutely love the absolute Batman comics. I collect sports memorabilia but wanted to buy 1 comic book that I can display proudly. These were my top 2 options. I ended up buying the signed dragotta cover because it’s my favorite cover

Headed to Vegas for a work conference this upcoming week staying at the flamingo. It’s actually my first time in Vegas by myself. What do solo conference goers do after hours? Probably just gonna fine dine and go to the sports book. Wife couldn’t join me this time
